Is anyone gonna be doing it this year?? It's National Novel Writing Month, for those who don't know, and it's a challenge during the month of November to write a story with over 50,000 words in 30 days or less!

It's lots of fun (and pretty hard) and I'll be participating for my third year! Anyone else joining? If so, have you started planning at all yet?

Here's a site for information if you're thinking about signing up!

I've thought about it, but every year I don't really have the time.

I don't suppose a previously created story doesn't count, does it?

It's definitely not for everyone omg don't feel bad if you tried and didn't make it. It's not like it's a measure of how good of a writer you are, just... how much you can write ahaha

Although if anyone wants advice if they realllyyy wanna do it I'd be willing to help ;v;

Yeah I guess I can't really barf out (is it 50,000 words?) that much of a story in so little a time. I go over and over it in my head a thousand times before I'm ready to put any sort of thing on paper (or cyber paper). So i end up wandering aimlessly in the story.

I did it, but my teacher said we could only do it in class, resulting in a failed project. I may do it this year, as it was a neat project to work on.
