So the prices of everything are starting to trickle out now and just by looking at a couple of different things, and how badly the UK is being treated by the none existant exchange rate, it really looks like we are going to get the royal end of the stick.

For a small example:
Eon's Elite US Price: $24.99
Eon's Elite UK Price: £24.99

Nitro Krypt King: $14.99
Nitro Krypt King: £13.00

I really do love this series, but it saddens me to think that when it comes down to it, I might end up paying twice what someone in the US might pay.

And while that doesn't sound too bad, if that amount could be in the hundreds (especially for a collector) it is just really unfair.

Though I'm sure there are other countries that have it the same, maybe even worse.

I'm not so sure, at least you'll not pay for crazy shipping prices with the UK price.It's not a whole lot cheaper but it's still cheaper than importing one from the US.

And hey, at least you guys get it 5 days after release. Other countries, say mine, get it 3 months later, AND for triple the price.

Where are you from? (That it comes out that late I mean)

Thank Gosh that i live in the US,i do feel bad for people who have to wait and pay far more than other countries...Hopefully skylanders 5 will fix this problem.

Brazil, the land where the taxes hate Skylanders' guts(because it's both a video game and a physical toy), preorders don't change anything, and for some reason likes to take from 3 to 5 months to get a game in stores after the real release even if it's probably translated and good with the country's regulations long before that.

Bifrost you should move... Seriusly you should. I'm not fan of America in it's entirety but hey at least it's better than Brazil in some aspects.

Nah, Brazil is great in other aspects, just wish the taxing wasn't so iffy. And moving abroad is not a possiblity at all - even to another city is already out of my league.
That's why UK sellers are so awesome on Ebay - the shipping is nice, the figures are already cheaper so only Triple Packs and APs have even a slight chance of getting taxed on the way in(and even then it might go through because they're probably classified as toys and not eletronics), and I've yet to have any problem with malfunctioning figures, only at most some getting stuck way back during SSA(though not sure anymore if it was from Europe or the US). Just wish that after the long waiting period here the toys were cheap enough for me to simply grab them in the book store whenever I have spare money.

Who really likes anything in its entirety? Bottom line, if you don't like it...move your feet. And, Activision can't be totally blamed for the situation....they're bound by export/import rules of the target country.
