NITRO Krypt King isn't faster! [CLOSED]

Stronger but not faster. I don't get the Nitro in his name. Nitro Freeze Blade and Nitro Magna Charge are "supposed" to be faster but now in Trap Team they're stronger and less faster.

Well, nonetheless, I still wanna get Nitro Krypt King. Maybe "Nitro" doesn't always have to apply to speed, just the color schemes.

The 'stats' outside of the game (On the website, on the included cards, ect) have absolutely no bearing on the actual stats of the characters inside the game.

I know but that bonus stats means + 10 in armor or + 5 in speed, etc... Dark Spyro has + 10 Critical Hit (If I remember correctly) in SA and Giants.

Nitro Krypt King just wants to be able to plow a line to the local restroom. Judgment would say you should move faster but no, the rational idea is to wallop whatever's in your way as you slowly go forward.

I may have been working in retail far too long to have come up with that reasoning.

Yeah but starting stats don't matter. Both versions max out @ 250 so what's the point? I personally like the paint scheme of the original better anyway...easy choice for me now since there's no stat difference. They really need to re-evaluate their design philosophy.

Newsflash...were't the Nitro figs of last season absolutely NO DIFFERENCE? Not sure why ANYONE would think these NITRO figures would be appreciably different other than the paint job. The fact that ANY stats are different is nothing short of a miracle.

As far as variant stats go (quoting the website here), TfB has been better about upping the stats of Legendaries as well. A lot of us collectors are more interested in the style than the stats anyway, though the stats will probably influence who gets more playtime...

My kids just want to use the figures that they think look cool, so they don't really care about stats one way or the other.

In-game characters are not tied to the figures themselves.
The developers can do whatever they want, with every game.

Different software-house, different rules.

And TfB seemed to pay a lot of attention in these "little" aspects. smilie
