There's been some mentions of bits and pieces but no summary thread for today's update so thought I'd put one together. From what I can see:

- Magic Toy Link tower available (25 Gems). Link Magic Skylanders for gems and a magic shrine
- Magic Sanctum timed quest activated - 6 days to own and collect from the magic sanctum five times for a magic shrine
- Super Tuesday - a wish stone from Orville every hour
- 50% off Hot Head, Eye Brawl, Thumpback and Swarm for today only
- Giant Houses for Hot Head, Eye Brawl, Thumpback and Swarm back for 350 gems, today only (for me only Swarm and Hot Head's houses are actually in store)
- All sanctums available until the 28th for the standard 1200 Gems

Again Giants and their huts. We already had that a few weeks ago. Some Mini-Skylander huts would be nice :-)

Yeah, i second on those mini-skylander huts. I'm only missing trigger snappy's house to complete them all..

That's great, now if I could just get my Sanctum to re-appear, I'd be able to complete the quest!

After the sanctum and toy link quests I will have a whopping 8 magic shrines! They really do need to come up with some sort of "super shrine" that you can trade in 2-3 regular shines for. Right now I'm really running out of space for these things!

They had a sale on sidekicks/minis a little while back, but didn't bring the huts back with it. With them changing the way they work in Trap Team, adding more characters, and making them available to get in the store, I wouldn't doubt they won't be running more specials in game to get people to buy them before they can just go out and buy the figure. Afterwards, I wouldn't be surprised to see a push in Lost Islands with them, including their huts. I know we didn't get huts for all of them, but I wonder if they'll add huts for some of the new ones.

For you Giant-haters out there I'm afraid it's more Giants for Wednesday...

I am not really a hater, just try to "complete" that game. And that means i really like to have my missing 2 huts and autumn stump smash :-)

How long do you have to wait for a giant house to make resources ?

My giants usually sleep in the elemental sanctuaries .

Halls have really good synergy with Giant houses. I won Swarms house and I just load it up along with the Halls, it works out pretty well. So well in fact that I've picked up 5 more Giants houses since I'm running out of stuff to get. I still need Autumn Stump Smash, but he isn't going to generate gems for me regularly beyond leveling (and definitely not more than I spend if he comes up), so maybe I'll save up wish stones and hope to get lucky down the road. Gems are the only currency that really has value for me anymore, so getting more gem generators seems like a good use. Flynn, Cali and Rufus are the only companions I'm missing, but none of those really do me any good (except maybe Flynn, who would simply make it so I have to check back more often to get his value).

was anyone else unable to get the magic sanctum? it never showed up as able to get in my game until today!

Wasn't seriously accusing anyone of being anti-Giant, don't worry.

I just threw in 20 stones and pulled out Swarm's house. I did the same 2 days ago and got Tree Rex's Statue.

Wow.. Are those listed in the top prizes? Coz mine's showing the usual 100k, b&b, tavern.. Etc..

They were not listed.

No IOS 8 here until things improve.

Did you really think you would get a Swarm house based on the fact it randomly happened to Excelsior ?

I dont see the problem . Toss in a 1000 wish stones and see what happens . You will still have plenty for when the Alter Ego,s return .

Well i for one hope that i dont fish an alter Ego,s house out of the wishing well but not having that alter ego .

But you'll get the alter ego eventually, so might as well get the house if it falls into your lap. You can keep it in storage if you don't want the constant reminder you can't load it.

Well, I can finally round out my alter ego collection then! If only I could get back my magic sanctum...

Sigh, oh well. I'm now too short to get Autumn (my only missing one). But, I do have all the Giant houses now which will do far more for me than another character would.
