Yes, it's been confirmed that the Spyro games are not over.

Just the LoS trilogy is over, which was just the start of it.
There will be more games involving Spyro, Cynder and the rest, I'm sure.

I think they should have more lands to explore, and more of a variety of creatures [not to mention they need more FEMALE characters. I mean, it's not like those moles, cheetahs, and dragon eggs just fell from the sky, or sprang out of holes in the ground. Sheesh].

Yes, and we need more female dragons besides Cynder! =D
They should bring Ember into the LoS style.

Ember can be rare pink dragon. She can breath sharp petals (yea, I watch Bleach right now and I means senbonzakura bankai ).

They can Import Elora, Professor (spellin'?), Bianca, .... too.

unfortunatly, LoS is over after DotD. There will be more games, but TLoS series will end.

I wouldn't mind if Ember would return to the new series. I was playing AHT a couple days ago... *shrug* Heh. She's cute, but I bet a new good look and a brand new voice would do the trick.

You know what would be cool? I bet if they could hold a contest of Spyro fanfiction, and when the time comes to an end--the creators would pick the best Spyro fanfiction, and turn it into a game! I thought of that a while ago.
