I had to wait until the 5th of November to get DOTD and I am SO disappointed with the PS2 version because the graphics suck compared to the PS3 version.

I was expecting to see beautiful graphics but I feel like ELB didn't put a lot of effort into it. I still like the game even if it's not as good as the PS3 version and I hope people are not mad at me

I'm getting the ps3 version i haven't got the game yet and i live in Victoria (Australia) i'm getting the game when my dad gets money i only have 3 dollars.

I got teh PS3 version the other day. Is that screenshot of the dam on the back the PS2 graphics?

no it's not on the back but that's a good point because the pictures on the back sort of look good.

I think the one with "Co-Op" under it is from PS3/Xbox and the next one over is the Wii and the last is PS2...

Or Wii. I never seen any graphics on a Spyro game on there.

I know what you mean. I have the PS2 version and I was really dissapointed about the graphics. And did anybody notice the Sparx glitch when you save Meadow in the Valley of Avalar? It scared me the first time I saw it.

The valley of Avalar in the ps2 version looks too empty. Nothing special about it.

Ya know its not all about graphics, its also about gameplay

Yeah, I really freaked out when I saw THAT kind of Sparx! Glitches really scare me, coz I love it when things look real, but glitches remind that it is just a Game
Speaking of that, the Valley of Avalar truly is TOO empty It doesn't look real AT ALL! That's why if I'll ever have a PS3 or Xbox360, DotD will be my 1st game on it (If of course the next TloS game won't be out by then)

Graphics are important otherwise you may as well go back to playing on your sega why do you think they upgrade the systems Graphis is very important they can make a game come to life, they creat moods emotions and are the best part of the game to me if a game has crapy graphis I dont buy it!! must have a good story line to... I think they did the best they could with the PS2 I am still debating if I get PS3 or Xbox 360 console... DotD will be the first game I get for what ever new console I put on my christmas wish list I love my PS2 and I think it has many years still left in it so I will be sad to say good bye to it and pack it up... Its brought me many happy days, DotD looked great Sparks was scary and a little funny... The only think that anoyed me was Malefors voice I could not understand him... Not one word

I love all Spyro PS2 games. I think they are all amazing. I bought the Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon today and it is so awesome and I love the graphics.

As does the graphic card in the PS2 when compared to the on in the PS3, so that is to be expected.

Don't listen to what they say. You must always hope for the best. There are many different opinions, so if you'll listen to all of them, then you might get fooled. Example: They hate a game, but when you will see it with your own eyes, you may just LOVE it! 8D Don't make conclusions out of what other people say

Man, I COMPLETELY agree with you!
I loooove it when things look real, that's why I don't even have my own style of drawing, coz I'm always trying to draw things as realistic as possible, that's why I think that I can't draw Spyro and Cynder at all... Anyways, without Good Grafics- GAMES SUCK!!! =O

lol Its PS2 what do you expect. Graphics, i don't think matters, from the PS2 game play I found the graphics amazing. Yet that's just my opinion. FF8 had horrible graphics, but it was an awesome game (PS1 game BTW) Graphics isn't what makes the game bad or good. Its the experience you get from it.

I saw that glitch with Sparx too

The only thing that annoys me, is that sometime in the cutscenes, it can lack a little. It not bad, but still.

I've never noticed any Lacks in the cutscenes Well... maybe only once or twice

The Glitch in the Cutscene, when you return to the Village with Meadow- Sparx is all messed up

im gald im geting it on Xbox 360, i have a PS2 but i dont think its very good on it

I have the game in PS2 and I liked a lot. However, I haven't see the graphics on the PS3 or X360 but I think they would be superior, but I don't mind. I'm happy with I've got. Maybe someday I could buy an X360 and play the 360 version, but actually I liked the PS2 version.

I found it a little too short instead, but I think it's because DotD doesn't have tons of slow-motion scenes like TEN.
