Activision is definitely more locked down on Trap Team information dissemination than the previous games. Though I visited the Trap Team hub (as well as other areas) and took a stroll around, there weren't too pleased that I did.

Explaining that wouldn't be bad though. Even a 'we don't want to risk more leaks' would be understandable but outright 'no we won't answer any questions, no we won't answer why we won't answer' doesn't make anything clearer.

And it's kind of odd that the regular villains get only one sentence of description. For characters like Hood Sickle and Bad Juju would be interesting to know at least species.

The Toys to Life industry is a lot more competitive now than it was only a year ago. Trap Team has a different release schedule of in-game content than the previous games and they're trying to control when that information gets out. By now in past years we would have seen everything via retailer leaks. That isn't the case this year.

I'll have some more facts to share in the next article, such as every villain being a different voice actor so there are over 100 voice actors in the game.

Wait if you were allowed to talk about all this stuff why weren't you allowed to talk about the mutely Skylanders? If you didn't sign a non disclosure form you should be at your own will to talk about it.

I am curious about the 88 story chapter stars. 18 x 3 = 54, so that leaves 34 more. Is that nightmare mode or something else?

I, like all the journalists and YouTubers in attendance, signed NDAs before taking a single step beyond the front desk. It's one thing to break a scoop. It's another to deliberately dishonor a signed agreement.

Another side note on Eon's Elite: the two Toys for Bob employees who were with me when I tested them out had no idea if they would work in the packaging or not. That's not to say other employees weren't aware and planned for it, but it was an "ah hah!" moment for everyone when I put it on the Portal.

So they do work through the packaging for the elites then.

So regular Elemental Gates are indeed CONFIRMED to be back in Trap Team. Great to hear they changed this!

Looks like the Arkeyan Weapon Master to me.

It looked like a regular Elemental gate but yes, in theory it could have been Traptanium only. Guess we'll find out in a few weeks.

That last picture: platforming? In TFB Skylanders? And "not from a chapter?" Does this mean there's a mode based entirely around platforming? If so, that's really exciting. I love when I can use my Skylanders for more than just combat! Don't even really care that it's only 2D platforming by the looks of it, it's certainly something different, and I enjoy variety.

And if it's true that there are regular elemental gates, too, than that's great! I'm not getting my hopes up for this, though, since it was said in no uncertain terms earlier that all elemental gates would be Traptanium.

I think he's trying to say that this is the Skylands Academy hub area...

I assume that last picture is part of the Hub or something like the area you go to when you jump off the tree in Swap Force.
