SO everybody knows that blades is in an Adventure Pack and Triple Pack. I cant decide to get the adventure or triple pack i really want the adventure pack but i want blades day one but i don't have enough for him if i get the adventure pack and the triple pack does come with 3 figures so please someone give me your opinion on what to choose ?

I'm getting the regular Adventure Pack. I think he looks better in his regular paint scheme than the Legendary one.

Definitely his regular version. The Legendary one takes away all the nice details he had in his regular look.

Overall I would say that if you really do like Blades then get the Adventure Pack.

The Triple pack only comes with 1 other new Core while with the Adventure Pack you get a whole new level, plus possibly new villains to trap within that level.

At least that's what I think would be wise if you are on a restrictive budget.

Considering this is the first legendary adventure pack, I'm curious what the magic / location items do different? I'll wait and find out what if anything I get with those before I make my mind up. In my mind the whole thing is a waste if all things remain equal.

Buy the Legendary Nightmare Express adventure pack, then buy the Triple Pack containing Blades/Torch/Gill Grunt so you get both without having to buy two Adventure Packs. You can buy the regular Hand of Fate in a pawn shop if you really want it.

Wait until a Mini pack of Thumpling & Gill Runt comes out instead of buying the Gill Grunt/Gill Runt Bubby pack so you don't have Tidal Wave two times.

I know how you feel. I pre-ordered my game at BestBuy, so I'm contemplating if I should get the regular pack day one or go for the legendary myself. Also, I know this if off-topic, but has anyone noticed the similarities between Blades and Pop Thorn? They're both blue (well, natuarlly blue), quadrupedal winged creatures of the Air element that come in a Wave 1 Adventure Pack.

I don't like Legendaries so i would go for regular

get the legendary adventure pack... the stats and power is better...

I say go adventure pack and then grab the other two from the triple pack during the seasons' inevitable B2G1 free sales.

If I were you, I definitely go for the Legendary Nightmare Express Adventure Pack with L-Blades. Also, I think it is a total waste that the regular Blades appears in the Triple Pack, not just the original Nightmare Express Adventure Pack. Remember when they brought Wind-Up as a single even though he is from the Sheep Wreck Island Adventure Pack? I kinda feel bad that they are wasting so much material used to produce Skylander figures. Don't the people who make them have any regrets?

get both reg and legendary blades that what i'm going to do.

Get the legendary and wait for the regular to roll out in single packs

I plan to get the Legendary and the Blades triple pack. Problem solved. I won't get the GITD skeleton hand, but it isn't worth it to me to buy 2 adventure packs.

I feel like nobody read the topic... he wants to know if he should get the 3-pack with Blades or the Adventure Pack with Blades. I saw get the Legendary Adventure pack cause those usually move quicker than the 3 packs. Then you could save up and get the 3-pack if you still want a regular Blades. Plus I think the Legendary version of Blades looks awesome!

I gave him a perfectly logical answer, everyone else just seemed to want to talk about the Legendaries.

For me I'm gonna get L-Blades adventure pack then the triple pack. If I were you I would get the L-Blades as he would be more rarer then later on get the tripile pack with regular blades, that way you will have both!

get the legendary, since you can get the normal one in a pack.

Get L-Blades Adventure pack then get the Blades-Torch-Gill Grunt Triple Pack!

get the adventure pack, the extra level is worth it imo.

I was plannin gon getting Blades+Torch + Gill Pack

And then Legendary Adventure Pack.

I'd recommend getting Normal Blades

He looks cooler in game in my opinion...

Did we ever find out if both hands of fate register any diff?

I want to buy the tripple pack and hand Torch to my friend. Though he keeps saying that if I buy a Blades his isn't special.

I'd get legendary first since you may not be able to later on. Once you have enough cash then get the other one.

I got both on day one

Just gotthe triple pack (Blades, S4 gill grunt, and torch are all sitting on my desk as I write this), and my little brother is getting the L adventure pack, so I'll have both! (also the in my triple pack was mis-posed! )

Back to topic: you must get both Blades version! There is a reason they (activision) teamed up with a chip company who's catch phrase is "betcha can't eat just one" lmao!

Having both the regular and the legendary, I applaud U to go for the regular. Personally I think his armor has too many different colors to just be painted in the blue. The silver accents gives more depth I think.

as for which pack, I would go with the adventure pack if you are just going to get the regular. Unless you want another gill grunt, you can buy torch individually anyway. If you were thinking of both blades obviously go with legendary adventure pack and regular triple (that way you won't have doubles)

Nightmare express is a pretty solid level too. The magic items are useful. So yeah that's my experience
