Ok, this story is the final in my 'Darkness Trillogy'. Its set at the same time as my other fanfic The Legend Of Spyro Fanfic III: The Dragons Of Shadow. It is set between when Spyro dies at the end of Stone Cold Warrior and when he is revived near the end of The Dragons Of Shadow. So I thought that I would start to work on it! Its set in the time that Convexity in convising Spyro to join them and prepairing him for the new age... (Some of you also may have notised the chapter in The Dragons Of Shadow called The Darkness Of Spyro... Well this is based on what you see in that chapter.)

Character Bio:

Spyro: The only way that he could kill Convexity was by dragging him down to the land of the dead with him, killing Spyro. But as he wakes in a compleatly new world he finds that when killing yourself there is always a price to pay...

Convexity: The dark shadow of both realms. This power mad creature was once dark energy before taking the shape of Dark Spyro. He has the ability to travel between realms and can choose anyone or anything to join him. He has been alive for longer than anyone can know and is responsible for corrupting both Malefor and Cynder in there darkest times.

Corrupted Cynder: Convexity revived the dark spirit of Cynder and gave her a task that meant returning to the living world and gaining the trust of Malefor and the younger Cynder.

Malefor: After Spyro killed him then he was convinsed to join the darkness and help Convexity and Spyro and joined the army of Shadows.

Yeah, so I will be adding the first chapter soon...

Note to self: Write more epic stories.

Who's the main enemy anyways?

Well, seeing as like this is like an evil fanfic there isn't realy an evil person that is trying to kill them its more of an evil person that there working with. Its basicly explaing what happened to Spyro when he died at the end of The Legend Of Spyro Fanfic II: Stone Cold Warrior. (But basicly the evil person is Convexity... Untill like... Some point in the fanfic... I forget when its meant to be...)

Dosen't matter. I want you yo keep it a secret. Er...some point in my planned fanfic for DotD, I use a stratergy from DotD itself.

Now, everytime I think of Corrupted Cynder I think of Dark Cynder's voice. Or, at least her.

Chapter 1: Wandering Death

Spyro opened his eyes as he lifted his head. A dark shadowy creature with two gleaming white eyes galired at Spyro with a large grin on his face. Spyro looked at him in anger. "What did you do!" He yelled running up to Convexity. "Spyro... Are you realy that forgetfull. Your the one who brought us here, don't you remember?" Convexity said with a sly tone in his voice. Spyro closed his eyes and shook his head. "Still, atleast I died knowing that you died with me!" Spyro yelled. Convexity shook his head and looked at Spyro with a grin on his face. "One of us Spyro, you only killed me. And who knows what the other Convexity could be doing right now?" Convexity said with his sly voice.

Spyro looked at him in anger. "If he does anything to Cynder thne I sware I'll kill him..." Spyro said. Convexity looked at him curiously and then began to laugh. "Let me finish your sentence. 'Even if it kills me'." Convexity said. Spyro lowered his head as he looked at him in anger. Convexity began to stop laughing. "But what if you had another chance... What if you could go back? A chance to clame whats rightfully yours." Convexity asked. Spyro grinned as he shook his head. "You forget Convexity, I do not fear you and you have no power over thoes who do not fear you. But what to thoes that you fear?" Spyro asked. Convexity looked at him in anger. "You forget young Dragon! I fear no one!" Convexity yelled. Spyro grinned. "Are you sure of that Convexity?" Spyro asked. Convexity anger turned into a smile. "Your right, you are so right and that is what will grant you your freedome. To become ruler of the world you need cunning, and you have that cunning..." Convexity said as his bright eyes glaired at Spyro.

Chapter 2: The Shadow Arises

Spyro shook his head as he looked at Convexity in anger. "You won't trick me! You may have fooled Malefor, you may have fooled Cynder but I have learnt from there mistakes and as long as I live I will never turn to you!" Spyro yelled. Convexity began to laugh. "If your alive then where do you think we are now." Convexity said with a sly tone. Spyro kept forgetting, he was convincing himself that he wouldn't turn like Malefor and Cynder did but by killing himself he already had. "If you gave your life to kill me then you owe us something in return." Convexity said. Spyro looked at him confused. "I owe you nothing! Why is killing you a good thing?" Spyro asked confused. Convexity shook his head as a group of glowing red eyes appeared behind Convexity. "Since the beginning of time the army of the dead has been building and now you will help us complete it..." Convexity said grinning.

Spyro shook his head as he stepped back. "The time is almost here Spyro... The darkest hour is appon us no matter if you help or not. But if you do help then you can return to the Dragon realms." Convexity said. Spyro shook his head. Convexity sighed. "Then Im sorry." He said. Spyro looked at him confused as he felt a chain appear around his neck. He felt the rusting steel as it began to tighten with every second. Spyro couldn't breath and eventualy collapsed on the floor. Convexity turned him around. "Take him to the mirror." Convexity said as two of the creatured walked up to Spyro and dragged him by the chain around his neck. It had been un tightened but Spyro still lay un able to move or feel anything. Convexity grinned as his bright eyes shone through the shadow. "The day has come, the army will rise once more..."

Chapter 3: The Dark Reflection

Spyro lifted his head on the ground as he slowly opened his eyes. He quickly cheaked to see if the chain was still on his neck. To his relif it had been removed. He looked around him to find large metal bars blocking his exit. He sighed as he began to notice a large silver mirror infront of him suspended by the shadow around it. Spyro walked up to it curiously. He looked at it until he suddenly began to see two glowing eyes look back at him. It was something he would never want to see ever again. Himself, his darker self. He shook his head as he began to step back. "What... What is that..." He whispered to himself. 'Let me free... Come closer Spyro... Come closer to me...' A voice echoed around him. Spyro shook his head as he closed his eyes. 'Fine then, if you won't then I'll do it for you...' The voice yelled as the bars around him began to close in to Spyro.

'So helpless, trapped whilst the walls close in? Now you know how I've felt for the last 4 years!' The voice yelled. Spyro shook his head as he faced the silver mirror. "Come with me!" The voice yelled as a dark cloud reached out towards him though the surface of the mirror. Spyro yelled in pain as was pulled into the mirror and his darker self set free. 'No! You can't do this to me!' Spyro yelled as he was trapped in the mirror. "Oh, but I can. Its edsactly what Convexity has offered me!" Dark Spyro yelled back to him as he gave him a sly look. He turned around to face the bars as he pulled them open so he could escape from the cage. Convexity stood waiting on the other side. "Excelent my minion. You have served me well, now for the final test and the beginning of the end." He said as the two of them walked into the shadow.
