Will the controller work with other games? (Other then Trap Team)

Because it should. Why does it have the D-Pad, thats never been used in the games, niehter then the right stick. Why is it where? It SHOULD work with other games.

It has been stated in several places that it WILL NOT work without the portal/in other games.

I am not sure I believe this but there is more information to point to this than the other way.

I would be wary of buying the tablet starter just for the pad, but if you buy it anyway PLEASE LET US KNOW how it goes with other games!
