Toys for Bob, who had played the past Spyro games for references, has now added Munitions Forge (a level back in the game The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning) into the Skylanders universe. The volcanic island is home to one of the new Fire Trap Masters, Ka-Boom, in Skylanders: Trap Team.

They already mentioned Summer Forest (in Skylanders: The Machine of Doom novel), it makes me wonder what other future area references they'll add in Skylanders in the future.

And considering Ka-Boom's flame on his helmet, does that mean he's pretty much a redesign of a Manweersmall? Sure, not a mole or a miner(or small for that matter), but that seems to allude to them.

Hahaha! Oh man, KaBoom as a Manweersmall is a fantastic thought! XD

What did the book say about Summer Forest?

The book said Spyro was hanging out there when Eon recruited him as a Skylander. According to his backstory, he was being a hero way back before he was actually given a team, but it's never explained what he was doing in Avalar at that moment.

Ah, so it's pretty much the same thing his bio said. I always liked the vague reference to all of Spyro's past games in that little tidbit. :)
