It's nice that the Subscriptions link is finally in that corner, but whenever see a number, it never directly takes you to a certain topic. We can have this system in which, below the Subscription link, there would be two slots for your two most favorite topics. Kind of like this:

Fav 1
Fav 2

Whenever one of the two topics gets a new post, it'll show an exclamation point, like your profile name would when you get a new Guestbook post.

Press that "fav" button, and it'll take you straight to the newest post(s) in the topic!

Uh, no. There wouldn't be room for anything like that.

I'm just saying it for those guys who have slow internet while using their phones outdoors.

I just want a drop down menu instead of sending you to a new page.

Or some kind of reddit bar thing on top that shows you your subs? Idk.

Although I don't see us having your suggested feature anytime soon, a way to have a quick link to instantly view the newest posts in a thread is...

Take the full url of your favourite thread (ex: http://forum.darkspyro.net/spyro/viewposts.php?topic=106748), add &view=new to it, and add it as a bookmark on your browser--maybe onto your bookmark bar, perhaps. Clicking it should always take you to thew newest posts in that thread, as long as there is some.
