I just want to know if anyone has screenshots of the Xbox 360 graphics vs the Wii U graphics so I can compare. The gamepad interaction with the villains has me considering to cancel my 360 preorder and go with the Wii u version instead, and I want to know if the graphics are better on the Wii u.

I would expect the Wii U to get some love since it's basically next gen and the processors force some special attention in regards to porting it.

also the wiiu have some awesome extra features on the pad. like the skystone mini game and interaction with the skylanders etc. so ditch the x360 version asap, you will not regret it.

I played the Wii U version at gamescom and it looked quite blurry and somewhat pale. I haven't played on another last gen console yet, so I don't have a comparison. The gamepad features are a nice and a fun addition but no reason to switch. I can't imagine that the ps3/xbox 360 versions look worse. The ps4 version looks great.

The Wii U is more powerful than the PS3 and 360, so at the very least it won't look any worse. If we're lucky, the Wii U port will benefit from the added power and have better performance/graphics, but it will most likely (as with most multiplatform games) be equal or very close to the PS3/360 versions.
That said, the Wii U exclusive features listed in CountMoneyBone's post alongside the obvious Off-TV Play and Miiverse compatibility mean that it'll be the best version of the game (gameplay-wise) anyways, so I'd definitely go for that version over the PS3/360 ones. :) |

I have a hard time switching, and instead am staying with the 360 version (even though I own a wii u) for the sole purpose of my love for achievements. The achievement system on 360 keeps me coming back and playing, and its unfortunate nintendo doesn't have something like this

It's a hard decision, Im already so used to the controls for swap force on the 360. I think I'd like to see more gameplay on both consoles and the interaction with the villains first before I decided to switch. But if I had a PS4, I definitely get it for that! The struggle is real.

The big problem is that the Wii U version is being made by Beenox. The same people who made that cruddy Wii version of Swap Force. And I'm getting that version...
Oooooh boy.

^ Uh actually, we have seen gameplay on the PS4 (which is also being made by beenox) many times
and we haven't seen many flops or glitches.

I know I've said this many times, but I will stick with the Wii U. I've always been fond of Nintendo games since I was little. So what if the Wii U graphics and performance aren't nearly as good as either the PS4 or Xbox One versions? I enjoy using the GamePad.

I'm glad Nintendo doesn't do achievements. I can't stand them, as most are "multiplayer only", or "Play the game how WE TELL YOU TO, or never get 100%", the star system in SF was like the more perfected version of what achievements should be. Back on topic, I'm going Wii-U. Gamepad convinence easily beats out playing it on the 360, nor are the graphics being any better of concern to me.

By Gamepad convenience you mean having the ability to poke the villains, right?

I agree. Achievements are, to me, a total waste of time. I've only got one of my PS3 games 100% complete with trophies, and that was only because the game was so easy. I'll also be another Wii U player. Once the game goes down in price some years later, I'll likely purchase the PS3 version too. |

I'd assume the "convenience" would refer to the actual convenient features, like Skystones Smash wherever you want + Off-TV Play. Most likely the latter, because it's pretty much the most convenient video game feature ever. :) |

The Wii controllers hurt my hands/fingers so I'd go for the 360 out of pure comfort. The tickling a villain in the controller screen thing doesn't do anything for me.

I do miss playing with the Wii Remote and Nunchuck controllers, but I've gotten more used to the Wii U GamePad.

I actually really enjoy achievements. It's not that they tell you "this is the only way you'll play the game". Rather, they give you the opportunity to go back and replay parts with certain criteria for the achievement. I liked how it was setup in Giants, where each level had an achievement that was a challenge for you to do. I remember, for example, looking for certain huts to destroy with the Giants boulders in one level.

Ill be getting the Wii version. Not that I will play it, I just want the free download code for WiiU so I can play it without the need for a disk!
Also, The Wii version is cheaper on Amazon! So I will get pretty much what I feel is the best version, not have to swap disks and pay less. Sounds too good to be true, anybody know of a catch that will annoy me? |
FireMeowth Emerald Sparx Gems: 3230 |

The only catch is that you obviously won't have the physical disc for the Wii U version.
If that doesn't bother you, there is no catch (that we know of so far). |
Pyrofer Gold Sparx Gems: 2495 |

Not having to use a disk is a BONUS not catch to me
Also, just pre-ordered the Wii one for £40 on Zavvi.com (thats about £10 cheaper than most other sites) so I am happy. No pre-order bonus but meh on that. If it was a figure I would bother, but it's not. |

I myself was confounded by this problem (before I made my decision) though honestly... I've gotten to the point where I prefer games on the Wii U than 360. From what I've heard, gameplay wise and such... pretty much the same (not including the gamepad 'features' i keep hearing about). Besides that I had decieded to eventually get both. but more precesely.. I'm getting Skylanders Dark Edition for Wii U. Then later (when it's cheaper, like Black Friday) I'll be getting the normal edition for 360.
Granted I like it more for the ability to play the game on the gamepad.. thus I won't have to worry about my family wanted to watch TV and I want to play the game. So it's a win win Not to mention it's helpful for late night gaming where I can plug in some headphones (way easier anyways) and continue on so I can keep sound on and they can have quiet.
