This roleplay is about a zombie attack that goes viral (literally) causing humans to fight for survival and deal with the loss caused by creatures they once called friends. This occurs when otherworldly portals appear and creatures and people are sucked out of their own universe and into our small world.

History: Rose was born to a reasonably wealthy family, but she worked to earn her own money through everything, including car washing in bikinis, because she knew she was good looking enough. Her parents went travelling a lot, leaving her on her own, which might have been a contributing factor to her independence.

Rose walked towards the gates at her private school, heaving her bag onto her back properly. She felt the weight of the homework dragging her down, but she got to her locker and shoved it all in there. The school seemed slightly emptier than usual, but that didn't surprise her, there was a full school test day today, where every student took the tests they needed to. This often resulted in an absurd absence rate. She went to her homeroom class early as always, and waited for her teacher to arrive.

Meanwhile, at the Aperture Science Facility:
The portal guns weren't working properly. They were creating portals alright, but the portals were flashing rainbow colors and didn't seem to link up. Just as the scientists began to give up, something amazing happened: A creature from another universe stepped forward. She mostly resembled a human, but definitely wasn't from around there, plus she just walked through a rainbow portal.

The rules for this role play:

3. No killing off other people's characters (even though it is in a zombie apocalypse)

Personality: Nano has a strong exterior and seems like the type of person who can see a murder and be almost fine, but you'd be dead wrong, Nano is a sweet girl and hates to see others upset or hurt, unless she hates you. She has trust issues and commonly stays in her friend group, if she had anymore than her "Mentor" Lalna. Can be a real Tsundere towards those she really cares about coughLalnacough
History: Nano works as the Apprentice of Lalna a scientist at The Aperture Science Facility, as is close friends with the young scientist, Nano's history isn't that exciting, moved up here from Bristle UK with Lalna and pretty much the highlight of her life is hanging out with Lalna and learning from him.

Personality: Lalna is an extremely optimistic, hyper, and just generally nice to be around type of guy. Though he'd very awkward around new people and in result doesn't have many friends. He's what you'd call a "child genius" save the fact he's not exactly a child anymore. Lalna really, really loves Science.
History: Lalna used to live in the UK with his mother and twin brother, Lalnable, because his mother was that creative, his life was full of teasing and lots 'o Science. Because of his smarts he graduated school at the age of 15 and took on a Apprentice (Nano) at 16, he then had to move to [what I'm guessing is America?] to work at The Aperture Science Facility, thankfully being able to bring his faithful Apprentice to the US as well.
Other: Lalna isn't a part of the Portal Gun Program so this problem isn't on his shoulders. And he has a crush on Nano but doesn't want to tell her because he doesn't want to ruin their friendship, because he think's she'll reject him.

Lalna was working in his personal Lab the Aperture Science Facility gave him. With is green lensed goggles on he readied to pour an important chemical into the beaker, he had to be careful or this would all literally blow up in his face. Just as the drip of green liquid was about to drop into the beaker his Apprentice slammed the door open, "Lalna!" she gasped sounding out of breath, startled the Scientist fumbled with the chemical and dropped the whole tube in the beaker with a splash, both Mentor and Apprentice stared at it with an eyebrow raised in confusion. "what th-" just as he spoke the beaker erupted in smoke, Lalna's eyes widened as he ran for his Apprenice. "OUT OUT OUT ITS GONNA BLOW!" he yelled pulling her by the arm out the door and slammed it shut just as a load boom sounded from within the room. The scientist was silent before he burst out laughing.

Nano panted for breath having already ran from the Portal Facility to Lalna's Lab then to have to run from one of Lalna's famous explosions, catching her breath she shoved her laughing Mentor, she couldn't help but laugh as well, "what the heck was that!? And stop laughing you look like a Mad Scientist!" the smaller girl laughed giving her mentor a weird look.

"Hey! It would have been fine if you hadn't come running in like that and sca- uh startling me like that!" Lalna exclaimed re-opening the door to see Glass shards stabbed into the wood, "whoa." he stated looking around at general damage, Nano peeking in from under his arm, "looks like nothing to bad happened just some glass in the walls," the scientist mused walking into the room casually, pulling his goggles up to his forehead putting his arms behind his head as he idly walked towards his desk turning slightly to look at his Apprentice who has started pulling Glass out of the door, "so what is it that you wanted to tell me that was so important you came bursting into a Science Lab " he asked chuckling.

"OH! Right! I was just in the Portal Facility to pick up that data you asked for and saw them testing the Portal Guns!" Nano exclaimed, Lalna's face lit up in excitement while Nano's creased in worry. "And uh... Something came out of it..." she said suddenly worried that the creature was going to attack her from behind right now, she quickly did a double-take at the door.

"What?" gasped Lalna his eyes growing wide, you see most scientist's would be wooping in excitement and running to greet the 'outsider' but Lalna wasn't like most Scientist's. He was a 17 year old scientist, and is there is anything video games has taught him it's no good will come from a odd creature coming out of a Prototype Portal Gun. "N-Nano, I'd think it's a good time to call it a day, don't you think?" he asked in a shaky voice grabbing his and Nano's bag's as he quickly made his way to his Apprentice.

"Y-yeah... Sounds good." she mumbled taking her bag from him as they walked into the hall's, she soon got that feeling you get when playing a really good horror game, tense, scared, frantic, and it was obvious Lalna felt them too as he picked up his pace, she grabbed his hand and they continued to the door. Less than 3 meters from the door a Scream sounded from somewhere in the facility, and warning sirens sounded as a red light flashed. "WHAT?! NO WHATS GOING ON?!" Nano shrieked hugging Lalna's arm in fear.

Lalna tensed as the sirens flared, it was a lock down. "Come on Nano! The doors are about to be sealed!" he yelled over the sirens pulling his terrified Apprentice out the door and continued to run until they were at least a block away he let them rest, "that was a close one..." she breathed trying to catch his breath looking over his panting Companion, "are you okay?"

"y-yeah I'm fine... Wh-what do we do?!" Nano asked looking at the blonde in despair, do they go to the Police or something?

"We go home, and hope nothing world shattering comes from this." Lalna states flatly and was punched by Nano for his bluntness, "oof! Hey! The Police and SWAT team should already know, the emergency "invasion" alarm does that." he explained rubbing his stomach where the small girl had hit him.

"Oh... Okay... I just feel horrible because I've played and seen enough horror to know all those Scientist's aren't going to make it..." Nano sighed, though she didn't know anyone from the Facility and they didn't really like a 16 year old in their Labs she still didn't think they deserved to die.

[Sorry for the long winded reply! I just thought I'd get this party started, eh?]

When the teacher arrived at homeroom class, the few students that were there all began to play up. She always thought it was funny how different people were based on their company, and how everything changed when they had friends around, or people they disliked. She pulled out her laptop and updated a document she had named behaviors of people. This was where she put all her research on the strange ways the mind functioned when a person was around friends or alone. People thought she was weird because she was always on her laptop, but no one knew that Rose was planning on publishing a book about feelings. She was one of those people who had the ability to tune her emotions down so she felt less and used logic more than she should.

"Hey nerd, watcha doing?"

She looked over and smiled at her rude class mate.

"Nothing much, just writing a book to educate the populace on how emotions work, now if you could please leave me alone, that'd be great."

The student mumbled under his breath, calling Rose a weirdo, but she just ignored him and kept writing. She finished the chapter for the day and listened to the teacher as he marked the roll.

Lalna and Nano made it back to Lalna's mothers house, she wasn't home from her work yet of course so the two teenagers got settled in.
Lalna decided to have a shower since he still had some chemicals on him and was off leaving Nano to get changed.

"I hope they're alright..." she mumbled slipping into her usual red and gold dress and puller her hair down from its bun and put her favorite flower clips in, once she was satisfied with her appearance she went to make some lunch for Lalna and herself, even though it was still morning the two had left early for work today seeing as Lalna was losing sleep over their current project. But everything was tossed in the bin now that the Labs was under Lock Down. "Hey, you okay?" asked Lalna gently as he walked into the kitchen.
Nano then realised she was staring at a slice of bread lost in her thoughts, "oh! Yeah, sorry... Uh what do you want on your sandwich?" she asked blushing in embarrassment.

Lalna chuckled at his Apprentice as he made if way over to her, "how about I make lunch, you seem pretty out of it today." he stated gently taking the bread out of her small hands, and leading her to the couch. "Wouldn't want you to accidentally cut yourself while cutting the sandwich now would we?" he chuckled as Nano huffed and sat down picking up a sketch book and drawing something, Lalna shrugged it off and went to make sandwiches.

When Lalna left Nano began to draw the creature she saw, it was almost human... But it just looked different in a few places... She sketched away for at least 10 minutes before Lalna snuck up behind her with the food, "what ya drawin' Nano?" she yelped at his question and fumbled with the book, finally catching it she sighed. "The creature, want to see?"

Lalna raised his eyebrow in confusion before he remembered, Nano saw the monster before she came running to him. His confused a goofy expression changed to serious as he nodded and took the sketch. It was like nothing he could ever imagine, where ever it came from or whatever it is, its not good and doesn't want to say hi. "Lets just... Forget about it for now and enjoy the rest of the day, hm?" he offered closing the book and putting it down on the coffee table, "raspberry jam sandwich, my dear?" the blonde scientist chuckled passing Nano her food.

"Okay, and thanks." she mumbled taking the food, she smiled at Lalna who was in his usual Purple shirt and jeans, his goggles sitting around his neck and his lab coat was no where to be seen, not to mention his hair was all fluffy from him drying it after his shower.
charming... she thought smiling while taking a bite of her sandwich, "maybe we can visit the school later? We have nothing to do after all." she suggested, Lalna wasn't a huge fan of the school but it was nice to visit and see what was going on.

Lalna visibly cringed at his apprentices suggestion, but sighed in defeat he wasn't gonna get out of this. "Fiiiine, but we're only staying for a period then we're leaving. That place is full of creeps."

Personality: John is a very self-confident man, people may think he can be a little stuck up though. To his students, he's strict and disciplining and so most don't exactly like him. For those who know him well, he's a very sweet and generous guy and not afraid to be himself. He's also got some commitment issues when it comes to a relationship; he's been with a few lucky ladies although he's never proposed or anything. He's a daredevil, hardly afraid of anything... besides snakes and sharks.
History: John was born in the city of Buenos Aires in Argentina and so he grew up speaking Spanish. During the time when Argentina was in a crisis and under military control, John's parents decided, for the good of their children, to immigrate to a safer country, John was only young then and hardly knew any English. Now he teaches in High Schools, mainly in History.

Personality: Quietly, Seymour is a psychopath. He appears to be extremely calm in all circumstances and quite proud of himself, as all Guado are. Though Seymour appears courteous and affable this is merely a front and when called upon he drops the pretences and reveals his true nature as an arrogant and cruel man. But maybe he does have a beating heart inside?
History: Seymour is the son of Jyscal Guado, who became leader of the Guado, and a human woman. Though his existence was meant to foster friendship between the Guado and human races, it only made him the target of both races' hatred. Through fear of strife, his father had he and his mother exiled. As a child, Seymour was brought to Zanarkand where his mother intended to become a fayth so her son could use her aeon incarnation, Anima, to win the peoples' love by destroying Sin and bringing the Calm. Not caring for acceptance if it meant losing her, Seymour mourned for his mother and spent his remaining childhood in Baaj Temple where his isolation inspired his views on life and death. At eighteen years of age, during High Summoner Braska's Calm, Seymour's exile was revoked and he was summoned back to Guadosalam to be ordained as a priest of Macalania Temple. Seven years later, Seymour returned to Zanarkand to have Anima's fayth transported to Baaj Temple, which he revisited several times. At 28, he murdered his father to succeed him as the leader of the Guado and as a Maester of Yevon.
Other: He comes from the Final Fantasy universe as a hybrid of a Guado and Human. Maester is a term for priest, they hold a lot of power in Spira. An aeon is a summon of great power, however they can be defeated and once done so, cannot be summoned for quite some time after. He has control of some black and white magic like Fire, Water, Thunder, Blizzard, Cure and Esuna (Healing poison, ect.).

Personality: She is quiet but that’s mostly due to only speaking Al Bhed and some phrases of English. Around people she knows and understands, she becomes a lot more outgoing and fun. She is polite and mysterious.
History: She was born to an Al Bhed mother and Human father becoming a hybrid and since he’s not fully Al Bhed, she was allowed into the temples to train as an apprentice summoner although, having no aeon to call. She grew up on Bikanel and once she was 20, she began travelling Spira’s mainland. It is said she found the relic stuck in her hand while digging in the desert for machina. The star has an unknown amount of power in which it can summon a Rock Cannon and seems to hold the soul of the Cannon’s last owner.
Other: Only one of her eyes has the unique spiral pupil all Al Bhed have. Although the Rock Cannon does a lot of damage, the rock is slow and can be dodged. The Cannon itself is also extremely heavy to everyone except the owner; to her, it's really light, like it was made of Polystyrene.

OOC: In all honesty Eevee, the RP basically just started. All you really need to know is where each character is and where yours are. You can even just skim through if you need.

In the separate universe of Spira, Jess wandered the Sanubia Sands of Bikanel with her coat wrapped around her to protect her from the needle-like sand. The wind wasn't too strong but it was enough to kick the sand up. The desert felt huge but really, the island itself is quite small compared to the mainland of Spira. She had to be careful when out in the open by herself, dangerous fiends lurked around in the sand; giant Sand Worms would spring out of the ground and swallow any pray. All Al Bhed had a great sense on direction, even in deserts; she knew exactly where The Home was. Every week or so, she's travel through the Sanubia Sands and across the ocean to the island of Besaid, where she'd pray to the Fayth of the aeon there to become a full-fledged summoner. That's what she was doing, travelling. So far her travels have been rather calm until the path in front of her started to wave, like an illusion and change in colour. She looked at it, intrigued, she hadn't seen anything like this before. The colours were changing slowly, the oval shape becoming clearer over time. It looked like an illusion made by pyreflies, the Spiran peoples life energy; their souls. An image started to appear, a mostly white building interior with a few people staring back at her with the same bewildered look. She stood forward and entered through. There was a loud shzoom and the portal closed. Jess gasped, turning around and banging on the wall.

OOC: I'm not sure if you want to control the scientists still Dawn, so I left them alone.

Calvo arrived at Rose's classroom, carrying a ton of paperwork and his laptop. He seemed stressed. After marking his roll, he immediately got to marking the assignments. The bell would go soon, he kind of hoped.

OOC: I don't need to do Seymour's perspective yet.

OOC: Yeah, I'll control the scientists.

Most of the scientists fled from the room, but those who stayed were senior scientists in the portal program and had emergency weapons in case something like this happened and an experiment went wrong. The creature looked human, but they couldn't be sure. "Who are you and what are you?" One brave scientist had the guts to ask, almost fainting in the process.

Rose barely paid attention to the notices, she just copied them down onto her laptop to read later if necessary. She knew Mr Calvo wouldn't like the fact that she had her laptop open, but quite frankly he would just need to deal with it. She glanced at his large pile of paperwork and frowned, realizing that she would need to hand in assignments for some of her classes and sit through the tedious exams. Rose always did well, but she hated having to concentrate for long periods of time, and handing in assignments always made her tense.

OOC: Yeah, school recently began. The scientists thing is a a science facility out of school though. It becomes important later.

Aria and I walked into Rose's class room as well, we had our books that we needed, and our laptops. I sat by Rose, and Aria sat in her normal behind the class room seat. She says it's like a fox.


"Hello." I said nicely to Rose.

Rose smiled at Maria and greeted her back equally as nice, but without as much care as the nice girl. She tried to keep distant from all the other students. She had the slight fear that she was going to get hurt if she made friends, and thought she could function perfectly fine on her own, anyway.

"Are you okay?" I asked, seeing the look on her face.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just a bit distant due to the upcoming exams and stuff today, revising mathematical formulas and the periodic chart and that stuff, you know?" Rose shrugged her shoulders and reminded herself to add a chapter on friendship and how it wasn't necessary in her book on human emotions.

I nod. "I understand." I held a sigh. Why do I nee to hide I'm a princess? Why can't I just wear my stupid crown? I sighed.

OOC: For me this is a thought bubble ^

Rose turned back to the front of the class and mentally pictured Calvo jumping off a bridge, she smiled at the thought. He was way too strict for her liking and always seemed stern and stressed, jumping off a bridge would be fun, if you had a bungee cord, and he needed some more fun in his life.

I typed stuff on my laptop minding my own buisness until the teacher arrived.

Jess turned back around, wide eyed. She felt the sinking feeling in her stomach with the thought that she may never be able to get home... she'd never be able to defeat Sin. These people... they didn't speak Al Bhed.
"Fro ryja oui pnuikrd sa rana?! Fru yna oui baubma?" The gem embedded in her hand started to glow and metal pieces formed around her arm, forming the Rock Cannon and aiming it at them. She'd may need to make a break for it.

Every now and then, Calvo would glance up from his laptop to keep an eye on his class. He noticed Rose on her own laptop and glared, he didn't say anything though... in fact he was kind of glad she was talking to another student for once. For some reason today he found it extremely hard to concentrate, he could only remember a reoccuring dream he's been having the last few days. Finally, the bell rung and he started to pack up as well as his students.
"Good luck today guys. Make sure you have your assessments ready, too." He smiled at them before heading to his next class.

OOC: The teacher is already in the room, he just marked the roll, just a friendly reminder He is one of the characters controlled by dark cynder.

Rose noticed Calvo’s glare and she snickered. She loved annoying him. When the bell rang she packed up her books and went off to class, ready to do a chemistry exam. She had some trouble concentrating on her work, because she had a feeling that something was going to happen today. Of course she finished it early, but she spent the remaining 5 minutes checking over her work. She found one spelling mistake, and immediately corrected it, wanting the perfect mark.

The senior scientists all jumped back when the weapon sprung out of nowhere. "Put the weapon away or we will need to use force!" A stern voice spoke out. The scientist at the head of the portal operation for that day stood bravely in front of the strange creature before him, his weapon raised and pointed at her. From the looks of things she didn't seem to understand English, so he put down his weapon, the universal symbol of peace, and gestured for the other scientists to do the same thing.

I went into Chemistry, Aria went to music (?).

Aurora looked at the clock, just patiently waiting for the bell to ring so she could get out of the classroom. It was a hot day, and the room was lacking in air conditioning, it seemed to be making everyone irritated. She risked a quick glance around to see how many people were actually still doing the exam, but didn't look too long or the teachers would tear up the exam paper, because she would be accused of 'cheating'.

OOC: The scientists are also controlled by either myself or Jenny Lark, so if I forget to update as them, sorry!

Nano had finished her lunch and dragged Lalna to the door, "come on! You promised to we'd go to the school!" she nagged pulling the taller and chuckling male out of the house as they walked towards the school. The two were enrolled in classes and were allowed to drop in when they 'had time' but really they just went when they felt like it.

Lalna chuckled at his Apprentice as they made their way to the school, second period should be over soon meaning it'll be lunch when they arrive, the scientist was unsure whether to be comforted or concerned by this though. "Why are you so keen to go to school anyways, Nano?" he asked walking along side the smaller girl casting her a lopsided grin as he did so, he'd understand if it was to forget about what was going on at the Labs but it could be something else... Did she, fancy someone at this school? No, she couldn't they'd only been to this school about 7 times this year...

Nano simply shrugged, "you'd probably talk my ears off about your weird projects if we stayed home, so why not see what normal teenagers are doing with their lives." she said with a laugh as they approached the school gates, they didn't live that far from the school so it wasn't to far out of their way to get here.

"Ah, well normal is boring. Science is fun." Lalna said with a triumphant chuckle as they walked around the school grounds, the bell hadn't rung yet but it wont be long. "Where do you want to sit-" his question was cut off as the bell rang making both the slightly paranoid scientists jump in surprised at the familiarly frightening loud noise. "Oh god here comes the stampede! RUN!" the blonde scientist laughed grabbing his apprentices hand and running down the halls to the courtyard, honestly he was more frightened of the fact of Nano being trampled by Teens then the Teens themselves. Though they were pretty scary.

"Lalna!" Nano yelped as they ran down the halls, laughing as they went "your so random I swear!" she called as they ran out into the courtyard only to literally run into another student. "Oh my days, we're so sorry we didn't see you there!" worried Nano helping the red haired girl to her feet.

Lalna scratched the back of his neck awkwardly, just when he was warming up he goes and does something like this, good job Jones. "Uh, yes... Sorry, miss." he said curtly looking at Nano as she worried over the other student.

Aurora had been in her own little world, when suddenly she got barged over by another student. She accepted the help up. "That's alright, it was my fault for not looking where I was going. With exam day on today, everyone will be racing out of their classes, trying to escape as soon as possible, and I'm just wandering around in my own little world."She shook her head and began to walk away.

Nano raised an curious eyebrow at the red head before pulling Lalna along to catch up to her, "Exams? Of what Subjects exactly? Sorry we're uh, part-time students so we don't come to school often." The small dark haired girl said shaking Lalna's leg a bit, "my names Nano Sounds, and this is my friend/Mentor Lalna!" she introduced holding out a hand to the red haired girl with a friendly smile on her face.

Lalna allowed himself to be pulled along by his Apprentice and gave a small awkward wave when he was introduced, "Nano, dear you'll frighten her." he chuckled still holding her hand casting a wary glance around them, he trusted the people here as far as Nano could throw him. And she can't even lift his weight. Though he wondered why she wanted to know about the Exams, they weren't actually allowed to take some Exams like Science, Maths and Humanities- since they related back to their profession.
Must just be searching for a conversation starter, he mused looking back to his chipper Apprentice a cheesy smile growing on his lips involuntarily, sh could be so cute sometimes.

Aurora noticed the attempts at friendly idle chit chat and attempted to do some of her own. "Oh, today is a day where you take exams in every class, or hand in assignments. I call it astressment day, but it is actually assessment day. Why don't you come to school often?" She wasn't sure how to keep a conversation going well, because usually she avoided any interaction with humans, friendly or otherwise. Aurora had a fear that if she got too close to people she would end up hurt.

Jess stared blankly at the scientists. "A.... Away?" She could only understand a few words but she could see they really didn't mean any harm... not intentionally. She lowered the cannon then stood it up beside her, barrel down. She hoped that they had an idea of what Yevon was and performed the sign of the prayer, hands out to either side before bringing them into the chest, as though holding a sphere, and bowing.

Calvo was lucky, another teacher had come in during the history exam his students were doing and offered to supervise instead. He was in the staff room for now, having a breather. They had a small television inside which was turned to the news as requested from another teacher. He wasn't really paying attention, just spacing out, but he did hear something along the lines of 'attack' and 'seemingly undead'. Probably just his imagination.

The senior scientist gave the girl an odd look, but took it as a friendly sign of peace or something. He pulled out a walkie talkie and spoke rapidly into it, hoping that she wouldn't understand what he was saying. "Jacob, I need you to prepare cell 72. We had a portal mishap, I don't fully understand it, but a girl from another universe or something, I don't know what, has arrived here. She doesn't speak English as far as I am concerned, and I want to get her in there for study." He gestured for the alien to follow him, hoping she wouldn't realize what was up.

Jess narrowed her eyes at him. A machina maybe? These people seemed to be much more technologically advanced than Spira... but Spira DID have a ban on most machina. This guy though, he was suspicious but she didn't have much of a choice but to follow. She dragged the cannon as she walked, creating sparks behind.

The head scientist was slightly worried about the fact that she had the weapon, because if she got tempted to use it, then he had no idea what it did exactly. He walked briskly through the corridors until they got to a cell with the numbers 72 plastered on the top. The so called cell had all the comforts of a modern bedroom, but there was no known way to escape it. There was even a separate bathroom, and everything was designed to keep the dweller happy. He made a slight bowing gesture pointing towards the room, hoping she would understand and enter.

The door looked just like a normal one. She poked her head inside the cell, it looked nice enough. She couldn't help but think perhaps they were being too nice. Cautiously, she walked inside with the cannon and twisted around when she heard the door shut behind her. She grabbed the bars and shook ferociously.
"You won't be able to escape." A mysterious voice warned her. The glass in front of the bars that created the illusion was transparent and she could see through the door to the other cell on the other side. A man with blue hair stood calmly which Jess recognized him as Seymour Guado, maester of Yevon. "You are... an Al Bhed, correct? Why the Yevon symbols?"
"E ys y cissuhan. E's uhmo rymv Al Bhed."
"Ah. Dryd sygac suna cahca. Mecdah. Fa lyhhud aclyba. Ev fa tu ed femm uhmo nyeca yh ymyns." He spoke Al Bhed as well.

The senior scientist sighed with relief as he watched her enter the room. He slammed the door shut and immediately locked it, hoping she would stay right there, even though it was theoretically impossible to escape the cell, with the bulletproof glass and missile proof walls. He went to the rest room for a well deserved break and a hot cup of coffee.

After a while of thinking, Seymour changed his mind about not trying to escape. The two constructed a plan to escape, they needed to go back to their universe. Who knows what them being here would bring?
"Do you have any aeons?" Seymour asked to which Jess shook her head.
"No, It's been hard to get access to the temples. I travel from Bikanel to Besaid a lot." Her Al Bhed accent was very strong.
"Hm. I see. That machina though, it could do some devastating damage... perhaps even create a hole in the wall."
"And the.... uh... alarms?"
"Although we wouldn't want to attract unwanted attention, it would be best to try to get to Spira. If we can't then anything would be better than here. Who knows what they would do to us in here. Perhaps it's just like Via Purifico and I have no intention of dying today." Jess picked up the cannon and took a few back steps. She held it up and fired at the wall that exited into the hallway. The flaming rock blasted a hole through it and a smaller one through Seymours cell wall.

Alarms began to ring through the complex. Havoc broke loose. Scientists from the lower levels who hadn't heard about the portal project's problem thought one of the high level experiments had exploded or something until the loudspeaker rang out. "WARNING TEST SUBJECTS LOOSE. TEST SUBJECTS LOOSE. ALL EMPLOYEES EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY IN AN ORDERLY MANNER. THE MATTER IS BEING HANDLED." All of the employees ran for the exit in the opposite manner to the one on the loudspeaker, test subjects were dangerous, especially ones that could escape.

A security guard went running to the scene of the breakout and saw the holes in the walls. "Wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of that creature or weapon." He muttered to himself, as he turned around. The sight of the rock cannon in the human like creature's hand freaked him out and he went running in the opposite direction. He didn't even get to see the guado.
