Not sure if there's a topic for this, so sorry if there is.

If you could choose any game for the Spyro franchise to cross over with, what would it be? I'd choose Sonic the Hedgehog. I think the dialogue and chemistry between Spyro and Sonic would certainly be interesting, as well as any new gameplay mechanics that came with crossing the franchises over.

Goodness, I hope not! o_o Unless the Spyro games are set in Adventure Time-esque, actually horrible, post apocalyptic future. :D I figured Spyro was in the same future/galaxy as RnC but either in a different time, a different dimension, or it's just a planet nobody wants to go near because it's crazy (open interdimensional portals all over, weird magic, more talking animals than you can shake a stick at...).

As for the topic, uh... I dunno. *shrug* The new Rayman games, maybe? That'd be pretty funny. Or System Shock (because I'd pay to see someone make that work :D).

Really, Crash was the only franchise that was suitable for it, considering how hand in hand the two were on PS1. And it happened. And they fumbled it.

Though I wouldn't mind a crossover with modern Rayman. I'd encourage it.

I could see a potential crossover with the first Jak and Daxter game or the Sly Cooper franchise going well, too. I never actually understood the Crash crossover. While the games are vaguely similar stylistically, in terms of world and plot, they really don't match up as well as everyone seems to think, at least as far as I could tell.

Also, I firmly believe Tachyon is the reincarnation of Ripto, so they totally have to be in the same universe. XP

Haha, okay, that makes sense. XD As someone who is an astronomy nerd, "Earth" is just the name of this planet, while the other ones get names like Saturn and Wasp 7B (that place is bizarre, too).

I don't think I played enough RnC to get to Tachyon, but I'll believe you. :)

Crossover with Spyro and Kid Icarus.

If only because Spyro and Pit could confide in how they both can't fly without help while everyone else of their species can (going with Classic Spyro here).

Infamous is... Strange for Spyro, but its awesome!

infamous, dunno much about it, but there's a story crossover with it and Spyro, so a game version might just work, or not.

as for my thoughts, hmm I think that Spyro could possibly crossover with Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy in some way. While Spyro and Ratchet have come from the same place, they haven't a whole lot that they could share in a game due to Ratchet's vast variety of guns, but then again, this is all my opinion.

I've always thought it'd be interesting to see how Spyro would play out in a Smash Bros. game.

Yeah, Spyro in a Smash Bro's would be awesome, but all of the smash characters are not of American origin, seemingly that 90% of them are Japanese. Still, it would be really cool.

Rayman possibly?

Devil May Cry because of the platforming and gliding with gothic architecture, combined with the fast-paced.

Flame, Charge, Glide, High Time, Helm Breaker, Stinger, etc.

Combochrist + Stewart Copeland = Some really awesome music and rocking rhythm.

Ehhhh... I'm significantly more partial to the over-the-top action music from the first 4 Devil May Cry games than the stuff in DmC. It grated on my ears quickly. <.<;

But... I WAS referring to the older ones since Combochrist did music for Devil May Cry 3 and 4.

Maybe the Spyro world is in the Bogon galaxy 'cause that place is already cray cray.

I'd say no. Bogon was highly industrialized and Megacorp was even present on the few backwater planets. If anything, the flora-ridden world of Spyro would fit best somewhere in the Polaris Galaxy. <.<;

I don't think Spyro and Sunset would work, because Spyro doesn't really involve too much action, it's more of a platformer. Sunset is an entirely different game.

I'm going to be boring and say Crash Bandicoot. I really would have liked a crossover between them on the main consoles. I think they blend excellent together. I also love Ratchet and Clank to death, though I don't want to see Spyro running around with guns......

If Ratchet and Spyro were to crossover why would Spyro have the need to run around with guns? He practically is a running flamethrower.

Hmm... I think Rocksmith should be it. Just mod that guitar game with Spyro songs and that's it.

Same thing to Guitar Hero and Rock Band. They're both rhythm games.

And in order to make a Spyro crossover of guitar games is to put Spyro songs in them.


...that's the possible solution to crossing over Spyro with guitar games.
