Once Gusto hate dialed down, Wallop hate became 10x more common.
Why is everyone hating on Wallop?

He's not that great a character but I still fail to see why he's getting so much hate.

I'm getting Wallop for my earth character this time...I don't see the hate. He uses his hammers in different ways than Crusher or Rubble Rouse (both gimmicks with hammer). So I'm ok with him. And he looks awesome in my opinion.

He just doesn't appeal to me. I find him too generic plus head rush is so much better. On a side note I really don't like enigma.

...don't...like...enigma? Those words... they just can't possibly be used in a sentence together!

My brother likes Blastermind more then Enigma. To each their own.

Wallop isn't so much a bad character, it's just that he isn't that unique and that his gameplay isn't that exciting compared to the others. Doesn't help that all the new guys we now know are so cool that Wallop now just looks so boring and stale next to the others, plus he literally feels like he was going to be the earth giant kinda like Krypt King was going to be the Undead Giant. Downside is Krypt King has an epic name, design, and fun gameplay, while Wallop doesn't.

Although I like him better than Head Rush, I'm just tired of seeing another Earth Skylander with hammers.
Also, I think Enigma is becoming my new favourite Trap Master.

...Because N. Igma is just a generic cloaked mage? (Wouldn't N. Igma make a cool name for a Crash Bandicoot villain?)

And honestly, I didn't like Krypt King when he was just a Giants concept, and honestly I still don't like him that much. He's just a generic knight with sword.

Enigma is love. Enigma is life.

As for Wallop, I don't like him because he seems very unoriginal (hammers) and his gameplay seems boring.

I don't care for Wallop much due to his rather generic character design but after seeing his gameplay he grew on me. Head Rush looks boring to me, Hate the STOMP attack, and the YODEL is just an attack that makes you immobile and probably wont kill as quick as other 'Landers.
I like how Wallop can Throw the hammers in the air and they smash on the ground and is pretty quick. That makes it better than the other Hammer 'Landers out their IMO.

Also, Enigma is definitely my favorite which means he will either be the last wave or second to last...that's just how it goes.

I must be reading the wrong forums, or ignoring Wallop conversations. Wallop is too Crusher like for me personally and I'm betting a lot of people didn't dig (hehe) his type of play. That isn't to say I won't get him (I will, he's a new character).

Wallop is one of my favorites, actually. His gameplay seems pretty cool, and he beats the other hammer-wielding 'Landers by far.
