I can confirm that the timer on villians vary on the enemy and that Sheep Creep has the longest timer.

How can you confirm that Sheep Creep has the longest? We still have a good number of villains to be revealed.

A story.

I know right it's weird.

Apparently some villains have less and more time smilie

I stIll hate the idea of the timer, I wanted to play with Wolfgang FOREVER but no only 30 dumb seconds

I don't even like Sheep Creep in my opinion.

The timer does increase as you progress through the game, though.

In my opinion Kaos should have the longest time makes sense to me.

I thought it was a condition of the Villain Quests completion.

Windumup didn't confirm this, Skylander Dad made a video about it.

I know, right? I'd have honestly preferred a system where they have HP that recharges when inactive, so a skilled player can play as them indefinitely.

One of the devs said something about it. Sheep Creep being the longest because he is the first trappable enemy

Not sure I like the idea of playing favorites.

I think the intent was to balance the gameplay, so the weaker villains would have a much longer timer, but the powerful, potentially game-breaking ones (like, say, ones with 80's metal knee-slides, just for a non-specific example) wouldn't have as long a duration.

Never mind that the reason why people will buy one of these crummy traps is to play knee sliding rockers than cork popping fluffers. That might push me away from traps entirely actually. Because if I'm PAYING to play the dang thing, then Activision isn't going to tell me how long I can. Totally idiotic.

I'm not saying I agree with their method or even like it, but I do sort of see why they did what they did.

In the beta version Chompy Mage had 1200 health, infinite minions, and a large area of effect attack.

That might have been a bit way too over powered, I completely understand why they changed it to a timer, and the fact that you can upgrade the timer should lessen the blow.

And today on IGN, I saw a devoloper's commentary video from E3, and Wolfgang did 400 damage when he slid! Hence why they put a timer on them or else you could kill every boss in the game in a couple of minutes. (Or seconds for the more OP guys.)
