I may have missed it somewhere, but I've just seen that all Sidekicks of S:SA and S:G are in this game. I wonder if my Green and Orange based Sidekicks will be of any use. Does anyone know, or has anyone confirmed it?

Will they work? Most likely, as all other characters and magic items should continue to be supported.

As for if they actually have any other function than running around like they did previously? No word as of this time. Hopefully that information will be available in the next big press release today, given we have the character poster now showing all the old and newer sidekicks.

Sorry I act like a newbie right now.

The tablet press releases and YouTube videos all posted around 8am. Its clear some of the people like SkylanderBoy and Girl, CoinUp, etc already have said info and cant post about it until the set embargo date is lifted. I suspect all those videos to go live on time, short of YouTube having issues. Otherwise I'm sure a google search on Trap Team will pop anything major up like it did for the Tablet release.

Here is a filter you can keep refreshing to see if any new Trap Team videos are uploaded. It will only find ones posted in the last hour since you refreshed it, though.

I hope this reveal is worth me staying up until 3 in the morning.

Yes. That's why I won't buy Any of the 8 old Mini's first. I'll check it out myself first. (If we don't get info on it, that is)

If the use of old sidekicks is not confirmed by when the game truck tour starts, think they'd let people bring/use their own toys for it? :u

Well, it's the attendees' job to get you through the demo so they might not like if people were pausing to use their own collection with others waiting in line :u

If you want to putz around your 10 mins (randomly selected numbers from the air) of demo time and use your own stuff I really cant see them caring. Normally its a time issue for the big long lines. If you get done, you get done. If you don't, sorry kiddo, we gotta keep the line moving. You can go to the back of the line again if you want to try some more.

No Soul gems to collect. Old minis will work.

good to hear there is no soul gem and you can use the old ones... i guess we will just have to wait and see, if there is anything else in the game that make you need them. i just hope there is nothing and they are just optional, like the old minis was for the earlier games.
