The new element is very likely. SO EXITED!!!!!!! You're asking yourself, true gamer, proof? Well here it is:
Pull up that character poster.
There are 4 ? spots. They are divided in half. In the other elements, the trap masters are separated from the cores. Hmm, the TWO trap masters. So that might answer that. But wait, they would've said there would be 18. So, those two boxes could be sidekicks. Then, the other two ? spots. You know what song I can't stop singing. Sky dad's trap team song. So catchy: 16 Trap Masters 18 cores. Even some reposes, creepin up for the forth. Yep, those are the two other cores.
Now, there are eight villains missing. They said over 40 villains. Divide the 8 elements by 40. That's 5. Plus, the Kaos and variants. Now, they could be missing 3 villains from other elements, and the eight from the new one.
Now pull up Sky dad's Funny Bone gameplay video:
"And Wednesday, 12:01 PM, wait no, 3:01 AM EST, prepare for your mind to be blown." He said something similar right?

One thing's for sure...it's not what we think it is, and what has been presented. that's probably the "best" news for this game outside of the initial gimmick being announced.

For the villains, yes on the poster there is a total of 8 muser villains. But if you look at the trap box just a second after the poster in the tablet trailer you can see there is 8 mystery spots. 1 undead, 1 earth, 2 air, 2 fire, and 2 magic. So no, those secret villains are not new elements.

Remember when everyone thought a Legendary Starter Pack was pretty much confirmed? This isn't exactly the same thing, but please don't claim likely speculation = confirmed info. Especially when there have been little to no former hints of a new Element in this game (Sidekicks have a lot more going for them: Barkley's in the 3DS Starter, and Mini-Jini was next to the logo on one shot, and we can see some old Sidekicks on the poster, and those tiny characters have little logos next to them, so the tiny characters probably aren't just abnormally small new Cores).

Wait a second. There's only one repose per element. Three elements got none. Four unknown spots, minus a repose... Half-Life 3 confirmed!


Yeah misleading title just so people go to your thread isn't nice. It could be reposes, it could be the missing cores, it could be the new element, it could be special villain toys. We won't know until tomorrow.

I think that the ? spaces are most likely to be Legendarys, Alt Decos or LightCores. Most likely Alt Decos though, as the Villains have some too.

Dunno, misleading titles are trolling. It's mean, it's rude, and it gets kind of silly when you don't expect the obvious reaction and get mad over it anyway. There's more than enough bitterness from previous months here to be angry, let people enjoy the hype until the news are over.

@Kiroq - Only four variants would be way too little for TFB. They made so many palette swaps in Giants it felt like some really old fighting game.
