He just vanished into the book! He said that when a dragon dies it's added to the book, so does that mean he died?smilie

I'm going to go with what someone else said on a forum and say that he blew up because he couldn't find spyro in the book.

No, his time as Chronicler was up, so he past the job on. Then, he past on as he had no reason to stick around.

The Chronicler said each time a dragon dies a new a page on their death is written in the book. The dragon's spirit returns to nature binding itself their to help shape the future.

Ever seen Stargate Atlantis? What the Chronicler did, basically, was sort of "asend"... so he probably died a "true" death.
