Unity is the next gen game. Rogue is the current gen game. They confirmed to be making 2 along time ago.

Fine by me. I havent picked up the PS4 yet. Been waiting for more games to warrant the investment. Rogue's storyline/setting appeals to me more anyways from whats been released so far.

Definitely looking forward to it. I wish we just got a weaker port of Unity but this is definitely a fresher take for Assassin's Creed.
