So I know it's still two months till we actually get to start doing some actually trapping but I have been looking around at my pre-order options. Right now I see options to be Standard Trap Team, Dark/Collector's Edition Trap Team and of-course Gearshift the pre-order character.

As far as bonuses go I know Toys R Us will give you a free Skylanders Item, maybe a character to a holder or something and Target has a free trap with the variant villian, Outlaw Brawl and Chain.

I have seen cards out there for the regular pre-order just about everywhere that's going to sell it. What about Gearshift or the grunt of my questions the Dark Edition. Has anyone seen the Dark Edition pre-order anywhere but online? Along those same lines, anyone seen a card at Target with the same pre-order bonus with the Dark Edition?

Ultimately looking to decide on Standard or Dark Edition...

According to a Target employey at my local Target, Dark edition will have a pre-order card with the bonus trap.

I am kinda assuming Target will have the best pre-order bonus for Trap Team, they did for Swap Force IMO

ive been wondering the same thing myself. i want the dark edition but i dont want it mailed to me on the release date. i wanna be able to pick it up. and the preorder, i know target offers a free trap. i think you can get brawl and chain as long as they got them in stock at anytime.

As far as Bonuses are concerned for the Starter, Walmart will give you $4.99 in Vudu Credits along with a free Digital Download of the Strategy Guide, that's like $25 with the movie credit and strategy guide

Currently, yes, only Gear Shift is able pre-order other than Starter Packs.

But I remember reading somewhere that they might start letting you pre-order individual characters for Trap Team. Maybe Gearshift is a test. It is doable, as Disney Infinity showed it could be done for a Toys to Life game.

Plus at Gamestop, each individual Swap Force character now has it's own unique SKU that refers to their name. No more same SKU for cores, same SKU for Swappers, same SKU for Lightcores, etc. That seems like a new system they are trying to implement for Skylanders

You can't pre-order her in the UK.

Oh that sucks, although I am not even sure if I will preorder her, I may want another character more but when we don't know who is in wave 1 it's difficult.
