^ In the Warriors/Seekers/Survivors Forums (which i stalk every now and then for information, and out of boredom), many have said that the six series will more than likely focus on the modern day clans, after BS. There are topics on it, some in the Super Editions section. Apparently one of the Erins (think think it was Vicky) hinted it.

so choose whether to believe it or not. i personally hope it's not true, but since harpercollins love milking this series, i'm not surprised.

They had that survey on the site didn't they, saying what the fans want to see in the future (have you guys brought this up already?)? I'm guessing the fans want more of the modern day clan. Personally, I'm enjoying DotC, I'm glad that they haven't brought up any Dark Forest things..... yet. I hated how OotS was based around that.
I'm glad Bramblestar's Storm didn't have any Dark Forest warriors visiting other cats in dreams this time.

It's just such a great source of money. I mean if you put yourself into HC's shoes I'd probably do the same thing, honestly.
But yeah, coming from me as a fan, I think they've milked this series quite enough already. Still, it won't stop me from buying more. Ehehe...

I really hate the fact that the dead cats were actually able to kill the living cats. I mean, they're dead, just mere specters that roam the skies (and a place of no stars). They shouldn't be able to even touch the living — they have no bodies, they are just spirits with no mass. Oh well. :/

I also hated the concept of StarClan cats relying on the living cats to remember them in order for them to remain in StarClan. Gah. That and the fact that the dead cats can die a second time (where they go afterwards I have no idea). I guess the fading away thing would count as dieing of old age in StarClan???

Funny how I have so many complaints about these books yet I can't stop reading them.

just bought TR, mainly because Kate wrote it, and her super editions are usually brilliant.

and i just read the browse inside for BS, and so far:

first i just want to say i hated how the Erins wrote blackstar at the gathering. it really saddened me how he apparently went from badass to elderly weirdo in six months. and then later on he apparently gets killed off, and his death is only just mentioned. he's one of my favourite characters (and second favourite leader), has been leader of shadow clan for a long time, and is quite a major character. he deserves more than that. .__.

And I didn't like how the Erins decided to leave the cats with no personality alive, and kill of cats who were more likable (Sorreltail, Icecloud, Toadstep and Foxleap. IMO ether Hazeltail, Mousewhisker, Whitewing or Rosepetal should have died. They're the least interesting).

I also didn't like how Bramblestar was always like 'What would Firestar do?' whenever he was in a situation. Bramblestar should do what he believes is right, not what Firestar believes. He shouldn't try to be someone else, and it annoys me because Firestar was actually an annoying leader, and I don't wish Bramblestar to behave like him. I honestly think without Firestar's influence Bramblestar would behave more like Bluestar; very fair and understanding but much quicker to fight in battle (and best leader imo). I thought ThunderClan would be great again after Firestar's gone, but nooo they will still never lift a claw. .___.

okay i regret buying TR now, even if it was on special (it wastes space on my book shelf). i guess my expectations were to high, since it was by the same person (kate) who also wrote Bluestar's Prophecy and Crookedstar's Promise.

it would say my reasons but i don't want to pick fights with people who love this super edition.
