Saturday is my Birthday...and I was a beneficiary of kindness this week. SO I am giving away 5 toy codes

To "win" one you have to guess my (upcoming) age and request one skylander from my guestbook. The request should consist of one reason why you want them or at least a smart retort.

I don't plan on logging on on Saturday, so before bed on Friday night I will pick the 5 closest guessers.

I am also trying my luck. I'm far enough along that I simply spin for any skylanders I'm missing, but my son is not nearly so far along in the game - I would use the code on his game.

I'm proud of every birthday I've ever had and am grateful to see another...now, if there were pictures involved and guesses of 95--it might be a little hairy. But since the only thing that's out there is I'm "a mom"

For those who wonder: I turned 39.

My family had a hard year losing 4 people in a span of 60 days. One, we lost to a horrific accident that had him in a coma for 4 months, another was my grandmother who always greeted every birthday with gratitude and the wonder that she'd seen another one. It is for their sakes and the others that I claim my birthday as a celebration--no matter how old I am.

Sorry to hear about all of your losses! A rough year indeed.

Good attitude to celebrate life and birthdays! You never know what is around the next corner.

I never know what to say about things like this. Hopefully you and your family's life will take a turn for the better from here on out.

My father,s light went out in May 24 this year . It was the worst experience of my life ever . I am so sorry for your loss . I know what it feels like . I never cried so long or hard as i have this year for him.
