I heard that the Dark Edition of Trap Team will be available at all major retailers, and that includes Target. If I were to preorder Trap Team there using the Outlaw Brawl and Chain bonus, do you think I would be limited to the regular version of the starter pack, or could I also use that to preorder the Dark Edition? Same with the Toys R Us Gear Shift bonus. Do any of these apply for the Dark Pack?

I think the Target preorder card would have to specify, right? So if you find a Target card for Outlaw Brawl and Chain that's Dark-specific, then ya. As for TRU and Gearshift, I'm not sure.

Does anyone know if TRU stores' systems can take dark edition preorders yet?

It's a valid question - I think this will depend on who you speak to at the store - a different manager/employee might give a different answer but ultimately the costumer is always right!

I'd wait and see for sure. There is still plenty of time. Last year the pre-order bonus did apply at Gamestop for the Dark Edition, so it's entirely possible.

Target Hi Mike - We checked with our promotions team and it looks like at this time the Bonus is for the standard version of the game only, for pre-orders reserved in stores. Target.com is not participating in the bonus at this time. Thanks for your patience while we researched this. -Kim

Well here in the UK we get brawl and chain with the dark edition so US will most defiantly get it aswell

You would probably be best checking with each individual retailer. As giantsrule said, the UK get outlaw brawl and chain with preorders of the dark edition from GAME (they have dark edition exclusivity).
