How heat-resistant are Skylanders? [CLOSED]

Because Enchanted Skylanders (Hoot Loop and Star Strike) change color in light, I was thinking if it's safe to put Skylanders outside and/or hot places. I know Skylanders are water resistant, as I've seen TheSkylanderBoy freeze Eye Brawl. I held my Enchanted Star Strike up to a light earlier, and her base started to feel hot. It was a dim light, though.

Skylanders are sensitive to heat, but not that sensitive. Thin parts like arms, weapons, etc. can become very soft.

As long as they aren't near a fireplace, they're safe.

I would definitely watch any thin parts. When my son go another Eye Small from TRU a few weeks back, we had left it in the car for a few hours. It didn't melt, or anything, but the plastic had become really soft. Being that it was so small, and his first Eye Small broke at the hip (which is kind of narrow), I was concerned. But after being cooled off inside, for a little bit, it hardened back up. But if you do have them in the heat, be careful with any part that seems thin.
