Iggy IS NOT dead cause in the end credits you see him very much alive. He's not daed right? The Chroicler did somethime to save him I'm sure of it?

And he's not dead... yet... If Cyril, Terrador, or Voltere die, then Ignitus will then continue his death and give one of them the Chronicler state.

Perhaps the Chronichler revived him, or he was just a spirt at that time...

The Chronicler let his own spirit go and gave the job to Iggy, so now Iggy's the Chronicler and he's alive, or his spirit is, at least

So, the Chronichler did die to save Ignitus. Makes sense, much better then my theory.

Well, the Chronicler said it was his time to give his role to another wise dragon, so he gave the job to Iggy. Not sure if that's what you meant, but that's what I got out of it
