Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this movie, but...

WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THIS MOVIE!!!!

I mean, there are so many scary and depressing and sad parts, I'm surprised I liked this movie when I was little! I mean there was only one part that scared me when I was little.

Behold the most terrifying moment of my childhood



But seeing the movie again, I'm surprised other scenes, like the Air Conditioner losing his mind or the blender motor thing or the "It's a B-Movie Show" song or Lampy getting freaking struck by lightning never bothered me. And that giant magnet and the junkyard and that poor flower and....

This is still my favorite childhood movie, but, seriously, this movie's kinda messed up.

Omg... I posted this in the last topic about BLT, but... that Air Conditioner... O.o goodness, it scared me so much as a kid for some reason. Yeah, I find it to be a rather dark and depressing movie...

I haven't watched it in a while but some other family members did recently and it certainly looked depressing.

Here's to hoping it gets the Kingdom Hearts treatment-*shot*

I used to be obsessed with it for a while.

Honestly, it's not all that dark, at least compared to some other things at the time.

I watched it as a kid and wasn't really scared at all.

Cutting Edge is about the rapid advancements in technology and obsoleteness.

I understand what it means, but to me those appliances had annoying voices that were unpleasant to listen to. I don't really like the way it sounds, but I love all of the other songs. Although it does make me laugh because all of those "Cutting Edge" appliances are pretty dated today.

Seriously though, I saw some of the happier scenes and they still felt depressing! I like a movie that can pull of multiple moods, but that it feels just like the whole thing pretty much is.

Actually, I heard Cutting Edge again toady and it's not that bad. It gets better as it goes along. I just don't really like the way it starts off.
