That Broccoli Guy and Rage Mage look essentialy the same? Both of them hover, they both have staves, their heads are the same (other than coloring and what's at the top), both have glowing eyes, both have stub-like arms, etc

Pay attention, there's a lot of item and character move re-use, and I suspect it will become more obvious as the body count rises. It wasn't obvious in the first game but I've seen similar instances over the last two. There's only so many ways to animate a "staff", "electrocute somebody", "freeze somebody" etc.

Don't worry there are still people on the boards that want more dragon characters. Its not like we don't already have a handful of those already.

It's just a really similar model - they both use the Trogmander one from Giants. Considering how some Villains will be elite enemies, it wouldn't surprise me if they won't be the only ones reusing old enemy models.

I noticed Grim Creeper was basically an Ignitor repaint for last year, but I find this worse.

Broccoli Guy's design is very close to Rage Mage, plus they're released in the same game.
Shield Shredder is similair to Painyatta. Not as much as those above, but it's still there. Also released in same game.

Not for all of them, before you repeat that for the umpteenth time.
Again, some of the villains visibly will be kind of elite enemies, and reusing models for those is fine.
Not fine is reusing entire things about another character without any links to them, but that's not TT exclusive. Eye-Brawl,Grim Creeper and Krypt King are all rehashes of the idea of Ignitor. But they all do a different take on it and all have their own characters, so it's not a carbon copy,and that's fine once again because people will buy them even if they shared colors or stories. Your complaints to villains should apply to 'landers.

Excuse me? Shield Shreeder and Painyatta look nothing alike... Same thing with Girm Creeper and Ignitor. And really? What is wrong with Blast Zone? You people over think these things.

Shield Shredder is the only one that really bothers me. His design is cool, but it's so similar to what seem to be his mooks that I confused the two when I first saw them. He just looks like a variant of his minions (ex: in Greebles there are Blunderbuss as well as the regular ones with swords, Shield Shredder feels like a variation of his mooks on that level).

Painyatta and Shield Shredder aren't that similar. That's really grasping at straws.

Rage Mage and Broccoli Guy seem pretty similar, but Rage Mage's design looks so plain that I wouldn't care for him anyway. Similarly, Buzzer Beak is decent but Chopper's design concept is similar and much cooler on a T-Rex.

I can't think of any others that bug me.

I think the word you're looking for is animation. It's not impossible to simply replace the models but have them do the same things though I'm no 3D art expert.

Not to mention that the game was still in the testing phase during E3. They can change whatever they want. Look at Jet Vac in Giants. He was originally a melee fighter with very few ranged attacks.

No 're'. It's just animation. Again, no expert in 3D stuff, but if I worked on it nonstop for a game I'd probably assign a 'swing weapon' or 'shoot out moving particles' animation that I could use more than once. Many animations repeat for some characters but it's really hard to notice since some models are nothing alike. No need to animate twice if you have something like that.

Do you have a linked reference to this? I don't remember this, but then again I got in full force a little after the Giants release.

I wish they had kept the old jet vac. I would enjoy using him so much with more than just the vacuum gimmick.

Look, you can only have so many characters until you start reusing concepts, cut the designers some slack, we have near 100 different characters, some are gonna be similar.
