I didn't know where to put this, so I think I'll put it here. My question is the following: do skylanders have to through any training before they can join the main group? I know it's trivial, but it is an interesting question.

It seems to be based more on acts of heroism, you'll notice a fair few are recruited after a particularly dramatic scene, but it does seem training and inventiveness can land you a spot, Drobot comes to mind where he actively sought out and volunteered himself.

Well Sonic Boom got cursed while Wreckingball fell into a witches cauldron and mutated . Reasons for Skylanders being recruited are as much as the stars in the sky .

Its a power thing . They are stronger then your average citizen of Skylands.

I would like to think that Slam Bam , Gill Grunt or Terra Fin pretty much trained hard for their position .

I know how they are chosen, but I'm mainly wondering if they need any training to join the main group. For example, learning how to open up elemental doors and going through a portal and other things.

Probably yes in a theoretical way during spyro's adventure core characters from giants were probably in training same with core swap force characters who were training during giants

This is kind if off this topic but kind of on the training and power thing. So here's my question if the skylanders were banished and frozen on earth how do they keep on getting reposes if they only got frozen once ?

Wow these theories are getting interesting . I wanna jump in .

Well yes they are only frozen once but what you would call a "repose" is actually just a portal Master unlocking a new powerful skill using seas of gold <cough cough> , i mean using inborn talent . smilie

The Skylanders power flows from their connection with their Portal Master. Some Portal Masters are stronger then others . Like it or not our destinies are entwined .
