I saw on a topic that has Sparx saying, ''Let's blow this dam thing up!" Did he really said a bad word or such? Dam and damn do sound the same but I was thinking if he was just saying like, ''Let's blow this canal thing up!'' Is it really a bad word? Or was that an error?

It is neither. He said it as a sort of pun.
