Here I'll display my Skylanders-based art.

Okay, going to try this again with the custom variants I made yesterday. I un-noticeably put these custom variants in the wrong topic, but here they are in the proper area. I've also included more variants in the mix. Most of the variants are ones I did as repaints or have planned.

Obsidian Skin Rubble Rouser - His soul gem appearance.


"Raise the Snakes" Rattle Shake - Another soul gem appearance. I did this as a repaint.


Granite Doom Stone - When I first saw Doom Stone, I noticed he kinda shares the same color scheme as Crusher. So I came up with this idea for a repaint if I can get my hands on a second doom stone.


Scarlet Trap Shadow - Based on Scarlet Ninjini. I chose this variant because Trap Shadow and Ninjini share the same colors a bit.


Four Tone Spy Rise - These next variants were inspired by the Two-Tone chase variants. This time two colors for used for each half. I think this is a great idea for repaints.

Dark Swarm - One of my repaint ideas (If I can ever find swarm anywhere, which I cannot)


Enchanted Ninjini - I could do this if solar color-changing paint ever existed

I also have the different swapabilities for the three four-tone swappers. I think one day I'll do an interactive swap force swapping program which you could swap to normal skylanders, variants, and my own repaints and ideas.

Also, I can't stop thinking about all of these custom variants. I am a VERY creative person. I came up with many ideas for custom variants. Here I have made some custom variant types (Legendary, Dark, etc.). I plan later on to have a series of skylanders in a table and what they will look like in these custom variants. Just for fun and ideas of what I want to paint in the future. But it's going to be a while before I have the opportunity because I need to finish my swapper collection and save up for Trap Team. And NO I'm not going to do all of them. Just ideas.

So here's what I have for variant ideas. Using my Tree Rex sprite from the link.



Variant types in order from left to right:

Chaotic variant - I've shown this before with Chaotic Eye-Brawl. This variant has an evil style to it using red metallic and black paint.
RGB variant - Title says it all. Uses simple red, green, and blue paints
Blinged variant - Painted with colors of valuable metals. Bronze, silver, and gold metallic.
Titanium variant - All of the paints have special effects. This variant uses titanium metallic, white pearl, and gray glitter.
Amethyst variant - Another nice shiny variant with effect paint. Uses white glitter, purple metallic, and indigo pearl.
Radiant variant - A special glow in the dark variant similar to Quickdraw Rattle Shake. Uses glow in the dark paint, black metallic, and magenta
Neon variant - I really like this idea a lot. These neon repaints will only use fluorescent paints. When exposed to an ultraviolet light in the dark, they will glow in bright colors!

I like all of those concepts. Especially RGB

Even more custom variants. These come from my two variant types that I'm most proud of. I would like to do these one day.

Radiant Roller Brawl. I want to remove the paint of my Human Roller Brawl figure because it's very low quality and I don't like it. This variant is cooler

Neon Gearshift. I'm only pre-ordering one if I'm able to. The other one for this repaint will be for next year's release. And it's neon variant meaning it uses fluorescent colors and will glow under a black light!

I've started making my own wallpaper. Starting with the Swap Force. I'll do Giants after swap force. And in a few months I'll do the trap masters. Here I did wallpapers of the starter pack duo. I traced all the artwork. And sorry for the bad quality. I don't want to go into too much quality because I'll be making lots of these wallpapers and don't want to be bored and tired of it in the middle.

Not all of it. I didn't make the background. I re-traced the artwork and created the icon thing.

Here's the Wave 1 Quartet of swappers as wallpapers. Whenever I'm doing something for each of the swappers, I like to go by the order of waves and the times I added them to my collection. So this order of characters is the order of which I bought them!

Now here's another art thing. I am going to do drawings of all the trap masters. The thing I want to do with these drawings is make a wallpaper featuring all the trap masters which will not only be used as wallpaper but also the top side design of my intended "all-cardboard trap box". I have done one quarter of the trap masters today. After doing all the known trap masters to date, I will wait until a new trap master with clear looks is announced and make a drawing of it right away. Here's what I have so far:

I did some more drawings of not only trap masters but also villains. I want drawings of all the trap masters and all the villains for the box. The trap masters are for the top side design of the box. The villains will be put in one whole crowd on the front side and also next to the trap holes inside the box for identification. (I haven't started my box yet. Still can't find any cardboard)
