In the land of Stocheio, there are 10 countries. Each country is different in its own way, and each harvests it's own form of mana, but with variety comes disagreement and biase. The only time these countries ever united under a single cause was in the ancient tines. An evil yet handsome man named Sorise corrupted five of the old countries. These were numbers and eleven through fifteen, and with each he corrupted, important aspects if the world disappeared completely, including knowledge of said aspect. This made it to where not even the wisest if nen could remember what the aspect was called, and thus, we did not miss them. But a were-tigress named Avastia, young in age but great in agility and skill with a crossbow, knew that if Sorise continued his deeds, nothing would be left of the world. She traveled from coubtry to country, starting in the densely jungled Ginan and ending in the aquatic depths of Hydor. She committed amazing feats, including killing a kraken and causing peace between the werewolves and her own species, th Felclans. With each country she gained support and a token of grattitide. She forged a weapon out of the tokens, and formed the Restorer. She waged war on Sorise, and, of course, won. She then journeyed into the depths of the corrupted countries, and made a temple where she stored her weapon and the skull of Sorise. After she did so, she sacrificed herself to keep sich corruption from repeating itself. But while her intentions were good, she didn't perform the ritual completely, and aft several thousand years, the corruption is returning. But it has a different, more powerful ruler. Ugthar Ashreytt. And divided, the world is powerless to stop him.

The Countries:
Ginan: A jungled place, the intelligent forms of life harvest the mana of nature, and thus can control the mibds of dome animals, and all plants. Populated mostly by Weres and Fels, it also has small colobies of human and elf scattered through it.
Flogu: A land of lava rivers and volcanoes, the mana firm harvested is fire. And, obviously, those from here can command fire. Many Dwarves, Orcs, and Humans live here. They have adapted to their environment, drinking lava as readily as water.
Hydor: Completely underwater, Hydir is filled with beatiful reefs, and harvestable water mana. A popular place for cacationers (mostly veterans) the population varies as much as the shafe of blues in the ocean do. Citizens can control water snd some fish.
Banar: A land of mountains and rock, Earth is the magic form found here. Rick, dirt, and mud is at tje command of all it's citizens. Unique to this place is a race of people nicknamed dirt-eaters who ate similair to humans but bald and with a tendency to eat dirt. Humabs, Dwarves and elves are alsi found here.
Aetahar:A land in the heavens; basucally a floating mass of clouds that people can stand on. Humans are the primary inhabitants but Orcs and Elves ate found here as well. Air and weather is at the command of the Air mana harvesting peoples.
Vallhal:A desert with no lack of sunlight, light mana is obviously harvested here. Most if the population is found in cities made around oasises. All races but elf and dirteater are found here, and said people can manipulate light.
Joton: A barren tundra, Joton is the least populatec of the countries, and only Humans can be found here. Tjey can make ice out of nothing, abd manipulate weather patterns.
Volku: A country with rivers of acid and flowers that can kill you with a sbiff, poison mana is harvested here. Citizens can influence ailments, poisons, and produce acids from their pores. Orcs, elves, and humans.
Dewlaine: A land where a massive cliff overhang blocks all light, and caves abound. Citizens manipulate shadows and darkness in general. Mostly orcs live hete, but so do elves and dwarves.
Psyche: A land where most everything is strange and, in sone places, mentally disturbing. Citizens can affect and toy with the minds of their enemies. Populated by Humans elves and orcs.
Hertzeya: A place containong the one, and only one of, peice if modern technology: a generator. A huge village is built with it in it's center, while the rest if the country is a wasteland. Dwarves are most populous, but elves and orcs are close behind.

Classes:
Spellweaver: Basically, your average wizard-type character. (can manipuluate multiple forms of mana along with it's country's mana) Specializations to be added tomorrow, my time. (I,m not going to elaborate further because I'm lazy.
Trickster: Your roque type character specislizations to be added (same time as spelkweaver)
Combatant: Your warrior-type character. Specializations to be added.

Ooc: the class details rely mostly on the specializations.

Spellweaver:
Elementalist: Can comnand up to four kinds if mana that aren't from their own country, which also means they can combine the elements.
Cultist: Cultists summon demons, an art outlawed by the monarchy of most countries. The demons grant them boons, ranging from superhuman strength to tge reading if minds, in exchange fir small portions of their souls.
Priests: Priests heal using various forms of magic. They can inspire their allys, and smite the undead and the wicked. They are often treated as healers.

Trickster'
Assassin: Assassins specialize in melee combat, and often coat their daggers in poisons. Assassins fight by any means tgat can get tgem victory, ofyen unfairly.
Archer: Archers utilize all forms of bow, fighting from great distances. They often tamr animals to distract those who would attack them up close.
Trapper: Trappers use their fists whenever enemies ACTUALLY get close enough to be engagable in nelee comat. Most enemies, however, are picked off by the trappers namesakes: traps.

Combatant:
Knight: Using a sword, a shield, and usually massive and heavy armor. They usually defend their allies, allowing their allues to actually kill the enemy.
Fencer: Fencers usually use two swords, forcing a steady stream of damage that doesn't stop until obe side is dead and it's rarely the fencer.
Scrapper: scrappers usually wield large; two handed and unwieldy weapons. They don't hit quickly, but when they hit, it's can stun enemies, or kill them outright.

Ugthak Ashreytt stoid in the center of a large, lightless room. His light green skin appeared much darker, and at 9' 11'' he was fearsome either way. A table stood in front of him, and on that table, a map. He carelessly brushed his finger across the map, snickering. "Eenie, meenie, miny, maul. Which of these countries is first to fall." He closed his eyes, then stopped the movement of his finger. A doomed country stood underneath his finger, and little stood in the way of him and the defeat of the chosen country.


Sashe Revrezki slept soundly in her prison cell. Or so the guard thought. She was easily reading his mind. She knew that, late at night, guards usually thought of their wives, lonely and willing to do much to get rid of that loneliness. She called, "Guard?" The human walked to the cell briskly, "What is it? I don't like it when prisoners bother me." Sashe seductively said, "I'm just so lonely...." The guard gained a perverted shibe in his eyes. "What would you be willing to do... to not be lonely." The man quickly unlocked the door. She trailed her fingertips down hus cheek; releasing a fast-acting neurotoxin into his skin. "Men are so foolish." she muttered as he slumped, drooling, to the floor.

ooc: Honestly, anything. It's really the first hint at why your title is your title.

Shadmé stood on a clifftop, feeling the wind blow through her face and hair. She loved the feeling, so much more free and uncontrolled than Dewlaine. She had thought she'd wanted to live there, due to her dark nature. But she'd returned to the sky, and gained a mastery of her home element- the air. She gazed over the edge, noting how she couldn't see the ground, and tipped. Shadmé free-fell for a few seconds, a smile spreading over her face, and then opened her arms. Black wind swirled around her hands and swirled into her back, forming into shadowy angel wings. She clenched her hands, concentrating, and the wings flapped on their own, sending her swooping forward.

Tyra Wolfe rushed through the forest, bounding. A bag was slung around her shoulder. In it was roasted food from another tribe. She head shouting behind her and grinned. The other tribe was a rival, and greedy. They made more food than they could ever eat. So she had the liberty of stealing and giving the food to other tribes. Because of her rough ways of dealing with things, they called her, "The Fanged." It wasn't an insult to her. A compliment, actually. She heard crashing leaves and snapping twigs behind her, and crackled the bones in her neck. This is gonna be fun, she thought, her fingernails becoming claws.

Pyrun Terrius grabbed a cloth from the rack behind him, wiping some soot from his brow. Blacksmithing was hard work. He forged weapons for the warriors of his world. It was a big responsibility, made more difficult by the fact he was different from most of the inhabitants. He secretly practiced harnessing mana from his world and others, rather than fighting with weaponry. He'd be looked down upon if others knew. Therefore, he was known around for his blacksmithing skills. "The Blacksmith," he was called. Not any 'smith. THE Blacksmith.

Tima walked through her fathers castle. It was amusing, how when she walked into a room, the servants walked out. As she walked into the kitchen, a cook assaulted her with kitchen knives. She easily dodged, conjuring an icicle, and slinging it through the mans chest. When he continued to breathe, she stabbed through him multiple times.

Dregan strolled through the streets of the small town of Retreb. Multiple people stoppdd to salute, or even hug, the orc. It was pleasing. Definitely a fitting reward for saving the town (and others.) He stopped at the tavern, thinking to himself, "I could go for a drink"

The silhouetted figure walked painfully slowly down the dark corridor. Against the hushed whispers of those held in the chambers on either side of the figure, she heard every word. Every breath, every all but silent plea out to whom ever could hear it. It was useless of course. But the mind did need a way to believe in hope. She could fix that. Her pace quickened and into the dim light stepped the tall woman. On either side of a pale purple tinted skin was hair to caress her cheeks. Below a silver circlet were unearthly violet eyes. her features that which would have been seen as beautiful had she herself not had an air of malice.
She turned to her play things with a smile that could only barely resemble a look of a cat toying with it's prey, "Now then, who wants to be first..? What new state of mind shall we create...? If you have one left, after all."

Elision strode proudly forward through city streets, his cape drawn back by the wind. His blond hair blown momentarily into his blue eyes. His shield across his back as well as his sword., although, the later was seldom used. Warm smiles greeted him as he walked, friendly waves or the turn of the eye following his steps. Although he was short is stature he never failed to turn the head of any who could see him. He was a protector to the townsfolk, a friend.

Sashe, having easily escaped prison, walked proudly through the streets. Though small in stature, the malicious intent written all across her features made her seem much larger than all she passed. She stopped, quietly looking at a burned down building. Silly townsfolk always have a place to worship. Places she never failed to take away. As she walked away, she began to think about what town she might defile next.

Ugthak had already started a forced march. His army was made up of many monsters. Goblins, Ogres, the rare dragon or dracon. They were a mere day away from their first victimized country.

She paced in front of the man in chains, he bound to a chair. "Do you remember why your here? Do you have any idea at all?" He writhed and spat curses at her as she spoke. A soft chuckle echoed in the room. "Such hostility! And here I thought we could be friends! After all, it was your daughter who sent you here... " Marrius paused, her violet eyes finally making contact with his and yet it was as if she didn't see a person there at all. She lowered her self to be eye level with him, her voice quieting to only a whisper. "The body is merely a husk. Shred the mind and you're no better than a doll. I can recreate you as I see fit and your dear daughter would never know the difference. But of course, I don't have to if you cooperate with me... "

Elision walked into the guards' barracks, setting down his helm. His comrades greeted him with claps on the shoulder and a raise of the glasses. He could only smile in return. He was loved because he would raise a shield in any mans defense, not for the feats of valor that the others among him claimed. In a sense he felt as if he didn't belong, but he knew of no where else that he truly did. He shield was guided by his righteous lord, and his sword raise to those with darkness in their hearts.That was the only thing he truly knew for sure.

Shadmé swooped and ducked through the clouds. Though they looked puffy and harmless, they were actually wet if one were to fly through them. So she stayed away, simply enjoying her freedom and her dodging game. Although Aetahar was very controlled and neutral in terms of government, it was a bit boring. Safe, but boring. Shadmé wished something would happen, so she could use her air power for good.

Fur began spreading over Tyra's body as she became more wolf than human. Of course, it was entirely possible for her to outrun them, but a good beat-down was amusing for her every once in a while. A sharp stone flew past her face, nearly hitting her. Tyra leapt into the air, muscled legs allowing her to jump farther than normal. Her face changed and pushed out, a snout forming. She landed, shredding the bottoms of her jeans with her claws. She squinted and snarled, teeth becoming canines. Now she was seeing her first rivals, and they were seeing her. They knew who they were dealing with now! They stumbled back, vines as a result of Banar mana erupting from the ground. Tyra began rushing forward, hoping to scare them into a free swipe for her.

Pyrun gazed at his newest creation proudly. It was an iron hammer, with gold bits in the head of it to give it more weight. He let it cool as he ventured out the back of his smithing shop, the part that was hidden against a mountain. He'd dug into it to make a practice area for his mana skills. He'd worked hard to learn mana of other worlds, and combine it with his natural fire to make different types. He took a deep breath as he let his mana flow through him, experiencing the normal stings and tingles that came with fire use. His fingers grew warm and he faced a rock. Pyrun held out his hand and fire shot out, scorching the rock face. He couldn't tell how much damage it did, since everything was resistant, but he figured it was something.

"You fixed him?" The young woman asked Marrius quietly, to which Rius only laughed shaking her head. "Please, dear, you make him sound like an object. Yes, I did however heal his mind." Rius said with a smile that very few would be able to tell was fake. She motioned to the door behind her as she turned. "I'm sure your father wishes to speak to you, my dear girl. After all, he has been through such a terrible with such delusions... Come along." Rius watched their reunion quietly, carefully questioning both of her playthings in this scenario. One broken girl with father issues and one broken man missing his daughter fixed to be unable to recognize that neither belonged to each other. She even waved them off as they left her clinic. Only when they did leave did her smile fade. "How boring... " She muttered.

Elision, after finishing his meal in the barracks, went to join his comrades at the ramparts. "Not as many fish around as there used to be, aye Elision?" Asked one of his friends. He sighed, "I'm afraid not... I wonder if there's too much fishing going on above the surface." He said, adjusting his helmet. "I suppose the most we can do is lay out some more food along the reefs and hope for the best."
