Proper Vampire - when he bites an enemy like Greebles, not Chompies, the curse is passed onto another enemy. If the curse is passed onto a Chompy, it's much easier to wipe out a whole army of them. Plus, every time he bites an enemy, he heals himself.

Underbat - it gives Night Shift two extra lives. If he gets defeated twice, he'll come back to life. It's great for boss battles in Nightmare mode.

Champion Fighter - doesn't actually increase damage in punches, but only gives you more gold after performing the giant uppercut, which seems very pointless. Also, if Legendary Night Shift picked this top path, it would be very dumb to give him back gold boxing gloves, which ironically he already had.

Warping Vortexes - only pulls in and damages nearby enemies after teleporting, which is not as helpful.

Oh my bad I thought champion Fighter was the gold gloves.

Their actual coloration IS Gold, and it also drops money.
