It's way too difficult compared to finnish.
Edit: Maybe english isn't that difficult...

It is a very tough language. A bunch of grammatical rules that we use don't have comparisons to other languages. <.<

English is difficult...?
You have clearly never looked into Latin or some Slavic languages. The only complicating thing in English language would probably be a bunch of exceptions for some grammar rules. But then again I suppose it's a subjective thing whether a language is difficult or easy to learn. |

^Latin is difficult largely because it's hardly ever used anymore compared to the languages that have spawned from it.
But yeah Latin grammar is a *****. |

Um no, English is by far the easiest language that I've learned.
Compared to French and Spanish, in English, a ****ing tree isn't a guy or girl, it's just a tree, in French, the tree is male, so when conjugating a verb for example, the verb has to be male as well. Then there are the billion exceptions for the past participle, If the auxillary is to have, than the verb is only accorded with the the Direct Complement (or whatever you wanna call it). And Spanish is pretty similar. German is hard because of all the letters and stuff. |

English is the hardest to learn, I thought? We have so many exceptions and duplicators and Merriam-Webster just love revising the dictionary.

Each and every launguage out there has their complications with make it "hard" to learn. Then again, what language is easy to learn?
English has pronnouncing issues. Not every single word out there sounds as it is written and one must be forced to learn it's pronuciation overtime. Spanish and French are moreover easier in the pronnounciation aspect as French is almost always the same and Spanish is literally always pronnounced how it's written with the exception of loanwords. But they get complicated as articles, for example, have classified gender and are given so to each word depending on how they sound. Latin and German are difficult generally because, not only is Latin a dead language, but the have declensions. Each word has multiple forms, each used depending on the context and gender used in the phrase. Japanese is seen complicated for having a enormous alphabet in which each letter represents a syllable. But putting that aside, it can be considered easy for reasons like verbs not being conjugated. |

I'm starting to. Though from what I've seen many words in Dutch aren't too far off from their English counterparts. |

I found French easier to learn than German and Croatian. Although English is my native language; I'd say I'm very good at it compared to many others I speak to, especially writing.

I guess it was easy for me since I was born in America?
Some languages are easy, some are hard to learn. I found Italian easy, not as much as English, but it was pretty easy to learn, I guess. |

I'm a native english speaker, so I find no difficulty in the language, but learning other languages is extremely hard for me. I tried learning French and CHAIRS ARENT SUPPOSED TO HAVE GENDERS DAMMIT.
Though I've learned a bit of Spanish from watching some of my shows in Spanish, and I'll be taking Spanish as a class in high school. |
