James and Paige are trying to get Link to play Song of Storms. Water is Petey Piranha's weakness.

((Ok, I think I got it now.))

Upon hearing what was the enemie's weakness, Link quickly took out his Ocarina and played the Song of Storms, hopeful that it'd work.

Dark Pit flew backwards a bit and hoped the creature wouldn't follow.

Petey started flying as Dark Pit backed away, Petey looked at Dark Pit and turned his way. The leafy beast saw the perfect opportunity to eat, he started flying faster towards the dark angel. The large plant roared at Dark Pit, but he was interrupted by rainfall. Petey lost interest in Dark Pit for a second, looking up into the sky, raindrops started falling faster and faster. He had enough distractions, he wanted to eat. He threw his open mouth toward the two...

A large bolt of lightning came down from the heavens, striking down Petey Piranha mid-flight. A large flash of light boomed as soon as it hit the flying flower, it shrieked and fell to the ground. The heavy rain went straight into his mouth, he started melting into goo.

Nothing was left but a pile of brown goop, the goop seeped into the ground. Leaving a large patch of flowers.

"Woah! Is he d-dead?" I asked

"Agh! Dark Pit!" I began shooting water at Petey in an attempt to ward the beast away, unsure of how much damage it would do with the rain falling around us. Thankfully, as if it was sent from Palutena herself, a white-hot burst of lightning flashed in front and Petey Piranha disappeared before my eyes. I squeezed my eyes shut, still seeing the light in my eyelids, and didn't open them. "Is he gone?"

"Yeah he's one." Dark Pit said and flew down to the others. He put Shadmé down,"see you later maybe." He whispered and walked away from the large group of people.

"I knew that your ocarina would have some kind of song to beat Petey." I said happily,"you think it might come back?" I asked.

"Shadmè! Are you ok buddy?" I asked

"Thanks, Dark Pit, for lending me your flight," I whispered in return, blinking my eyes open. I watched the angel go a little sadly, but believed he'd be back. I ran a hand through my hair, feeling it get wetter as the rain fell. I then heard Austin's question. "Yeah, I'm fine," I replied, then immediately began heading towards the house to dry off.

"Woah! I guess we did it guys!" James said happily to Paige and Link after Petey melted.

"I don't know if he'll come back, but now we know we can take him at least." James responded to Paige.

"Yay!" Link said with a smile, "We did it!" He said again happily, he then looked at Paige, he shrugged at her question, "I dunno, but, we could always beat him again."

"Well yeah,that's a good thing.well I think I'm going to go for a walk or something in a bit." I said.

I ran inside just as Paige said about taking a walk "Is it ok if I come with you Paige?" I asked

OoC: You're taking a walk in the rain? X3

I walked into the bathroom to grab a towel, and started rubbing the water out of my hair. My mind was on Dark Pit. I wanted to go out and find him again. Wait...why was my mind on him? Was I...no, I just wanted to get to know my favorite video game character while he was here. Right?

Yes yes I am.))

I shrugged,"you can if you want,but you'll be wet."

"I'll be with you, so I don't care" I said with a smile

Link soon walked over to Paige, "Hey, can I come too?"

"And me?" Kirby squeaked, hopping over to Paige, Austin and Link.

I laughed,"sure you all can come."

"Kirby, Link, maybe you should let Paige and Austin go in private, they might talk about some personal things" Shadow said

"Yay!" Kirby chirped, totally missing Shadow's comment.

"Maybe Shadow's right, maybe you two should stay here" I said

"Yes! We-a' got him!" Luigi screamed to the others as Petey sank into the ground. "Great-a' job, guys!"

Wolf pocketed his blaster upon hearing Luigi. "Yeah. We took 'im down. Though the real heroes in this picture are James, fer thinkin' th' plan, n' Link, Shadmé n' Dark Pit, fer carryin' it out. Where'd they go, anyhow?"

"they went inside" Sonic told Wolf

"Thank ye," Wolf replied, and made his way indoors.

Pit was already indoors, looking around for something to do. He eventually walked to the bathroom to dry off, surprised to find Shadmé. "Uh...hey. Can I borrow a towel?"

"Let's go!" said Kirby, eyes shining.

I smiled happily," OMG you can talk now!?" I said a little to loudly. I continued to smiled ear to ear before picking up Kirby and hugging him," your so cute!"

"What, you think I wouldn't let you or something?" I asked the wingless angel, amused. He stood there, slightly confused. I almost immediately felt a surge of pity. Where was his humor, his personality? Of all the daydreams I'd had of video game characters coming to Earth, this was not how I'd imagined it. We needed to fix this, and fast. I handed Pit a towel and he gratefully accepted, rubbing his hair and making it even crazier than it already was. My heart beat quicker and I turned away.

"Wha? I always talk!" Kirby squeaked as Paige hugged him, the sound dissolving into childish laughter. "Haha, you're squishing me!"

" I didn't realize you could," I smiled and slackened my hug," sorry Kirby." I told the little pink blob," you've gotta be one of my favorites." I said and just held him in my arms," on second thought I don't really want to go for a walk anymore. What do you wanna do?" I asked.

"Whatever, I guess it gets boring" I said as I rubbed Kirby's head

Kirby ceased his struggling and hung in Paige's arms. He playfully stuck his tongue out as Austin rubbed his hair. "Boring? It's not boring! Maybe we could play a game. Games are fun. I like games!" At that moment, Wolf walked inside and sat down on a chair. He sighed in relief. "Fer once, I'm glad I'm not myself," he admitted. "M' tail usually gits in the way of sittin'."

" don't be like that Austin." I said before smiling and petting Kirby," sure I guess we can play a game. What kind of game do you think we should play?" I asked," maybe hide and go seek?" I suggested.

"I mean it gets boring being alone" I said

" oh oops, sorry Austin I didn't realize you ment that, that way." I replied and yawned," well today's been a long and exciting day." I added.

"Oooh! I like hide and seek," Kirby grinned. Wolf raised an eyebrow. "It sure has, Paige, it sure has. Hopef'lly you still got some energy in you. Kirby ain't gonna tire easy." Kirby looked from each speaker to the next, dark blue eyes shining brightly.

I watched Pit, mind wandering. How could I cheer him up? I didn't know what it was like for him to lose his wings. Despite being flightless, they were all he had to physically prove his divine status. An idea came to me as soon as I thought that. Perhaps if we could show him that being human wasn't so bad, he'd perk up! But how would we do that?
"Um… Shadmé?" I blinked out of my trance and shook my head. "Ah! Sorry, Pit. Didn't mean to look."
"Okay…" Pit set the towel down and began walking out of the bathroom.
"Wait, Pit!" I called, following him. He turned curiously.
"I…let's go see what the others are up to!" I suggested, pointing to the living room. He nodded and took off that direction, me behind him.

"I'll be fine. I have to deal with a bunch of little kids almost 24 7. Kirby won't be that hard to handle." I replied and smiled," ok I'll count to 10 and you hide." I covered my eyes and started to count," 1....2.....3........4.......5....."

I poked Kirby "Follow me" I said before walking to the basement door and slowly opening it so there was no noise

Sonic and Shadow didn't want to play, so they went upstairs to look for anything that would help them figure this out

Pit and I walked in to see Paige, eyes shut, counting. Austin and Kirby were going over to the basement. Wolf was sneaking away to one of the bedrooms, though with difficulty due to the clinking of his boots. I turned to grin at Pit, and due to his expression, I could tell he had assessed the same thing I had. Together, we bolted off towards the kitchen.
Upon reaching the kitchen, I opened a large cabinet containing only a trash can and the pipes of the sink above it. I moved the trash can to an inconspicuous location and hopped inside the space. I then patted the ground. "There's plenty of room!" I assured Pit, who seemed slightly forlorn. He hesitantly joined me. Once he was in I shut the cabinet door, leaving just me, Pit and the darkness. I immediately thought of that one game where you and another person were locked in a closet for 7 minutes and flushed, though not visible in the dim light.

OOC: Woah, why is suddenly alive after a year? I guess I'll grab my characters again.

James went to the couch to relax, the entire day was a lot to take in. Video Game characters inexplicably appearing in the real world, a giant attack by a plant monster; how could today get any stranger? He honestly didn't want to know. He saw Austin beside him counting down for a game of hide and seek, if it were any other time he would play as well, but today was a bit different.

As everyone else went back inside, Luigi couldn't help but stay put. This was one of the few times when he could say he helped to save the day. The Mansion incident and the battle against Subspace were some of the best moments of his life, because he did something to help everyone, to save the world even! He's fine with being #2, that's who he is, but the few times when he can become #1 bring out this wonderful feeling in him. He didn't mind getting soaked right now, he just wanted to experience this moment.

I went into the basement and saw a small door, my guess was it went under the porch "Lets hide in here Kirby" I said as I opened the door

Sonic and Shadow were looking through a bedroom form something "Usually I wouldn't do this, but we need info" Sonic said as they searched

OoC: @Lunar No clue.

"Ooh! Good idea!" Kirby peeped as he peered in the door. Cracks from the porch above filtered in tiny bits of light that was enough to illuminate the slightly dirty floor. "They'll never catch us in here."

Wolf had attempted to fit under the bed, with no success. Growling with annoyance, he hid in the closest instead. I ain't as young as I used t' be, he thought.

I pressed myself to the back wall to leave Pit as much room as possible, seeing as he was a good couple of inches taller than I was. I then proceeded to still my breathing to make out hiding spot even less obvious. Pit was as still as stone.

"6.....7...8...9...10. Ready or not here I come!" I said before beginning to search. No one would likely be in the same room as me, so I went down stairs to look aground," if I were hiding were would I hide?" I asked myself.

I put my finger against my mouth to signal Kirby to stay quiet

Sonic and Shadow were still looking through a bedroom when Sonic pulled out a pair of underwear, which he quickly dropped "Lets get out of here!" He said

Kirby shuffled through the door and crouched, remaining quiet as Austin instructed.

Pit remained as quiet as his partner, hidden away in the cabinet. In the darkness, he once again began to reflect on his current state. Wingless, mortal and ordinary. His head drooped slightly. How long would it last? He had to find a way to get home to Skyworld before his mortal body began to age.
Pit mused some more. The others had said they were playing a game called Super Smash Brothers Brawl when the power flickered. That was the proposed theory of how they'd gotten there. Pit twirled a bit of hair, smiling slightly. If they could cause a mock power outage while playing the game...
