Are Super Tuesdays still random? I got a pretty strange one today--Unlock Islands at 50% off. I started the day at about 96% of the way to level 42 and the Troll (?) Island. I brought my iPad to work today, which I don't normally do any more, to try to make it. I would certainly like to save that gold if I can make it, though I'm not sure I can. 4% in one day is pretty tough...

I saw that--gotta tell you, hubby was a bit bummed. He was hoping for double hero points or more chests: with Arbo 50%, we are on a gem hunt!

Don't think they're random - I believe everyone has the same Super Tuesdays again.

Kind of a lame Super Tuesday. I doubt more than a few could even partake in it. It might be great for lower level players who happen to have the gold to pick up an island. But for those who only need the smaller islands, the odds that we would be at the level needed, is pretty low. Now that I think about it, though, I do believe they offered this in the past when I was still looking to get the bigger islands. I just think they needed something else for upper level players.

I had plenty of cash on hand to take advantage of the sale and buy several, but since you need 24 hours to unlock before buying the next, I was only able to buy Sheep Island. I am cheap enough to wait for the next island deal though.

Right. The key was being too cheap to buy the various islands. If you're in that category, this is a great Super Tuesday. Not so great for the rest of us who buy islands as soon as we can.

But I'm sitting at 99.6% and keeping my fingers crossed I can eke out that last .4% over the rest of the day...

They have done 50% off islands once before that I've seen. I didn't get to participate then and I doubt I will next time, but it is reason for me to wait on buying the next tiny island until another sale.

DANG IT! I just paid $35M for the level 43 island last night. BOO! :-(

I guess that's karma for buying all those windmills.. :-O

Well, at least with those windmills you'll get to level 44 a lot faster...

Meanwhile I just made it under the wire and got my level 42 island for 15,000,000 coins!
