Perhaps we are a bit late to the party...

We started playing in February, but the i-pad crashed and we lost everything and are starting over since May. We leveled up fast because the kids have so many of the figures for their game. But we didn't get the chance for many of the companions. Couldn't level up fast enough for the gems.

As it is, we're level 28 and are trying to get more islands and the Sanctum/Toy Link missions look like they'll help us quite a bit

With 4th of July coming up--I'm hoping someone will come home for a BBQ or something silly like for Memorial Day. Any 'wishes' for who you'd like to see? Will you save enough gems in 3 weeks?

Well, I have two alter egos (Surfer Slam Bam and Autumn Stump Smash) remaining to get, so I'd like to see them back in the well over the holiday. I'm saving up Wish Stones (and will wait until the holiday to spin for the probably new July ego for maximum effect).

Also, I'm saving gems for a new companion, should have enough - I hope they continue with the quest rewards for linked toys each week. It's nice that they are finally offering real rewards for having the actual toys in the form of the Link Towers and the two a week quests. After all, spending the money on the toys should give you a decent reward.

not anymore though. I noticed that the last 3 months have been NEW alter egos so I'm sad to see that we might not get them back.

we are hoping for Diggs, Ol' Mac or a really great deal on Flynn. Good luck!

I am also hoping for Diggs and Ol'Mac and saving my gems for this purpose. 1192 gems and counting so far, so hoping for a good deal there.

I have Surfer SB Buttered Popthorn Grill master Chop Chop and would really like 60 more gems for the Adventure Clock

got ol mac, and had 100k potions after a few hours...the boys are SO EXCITED not to be so potion poor that they can earn some real gold!

Can't find the thread I'm looking for--but this is as good a place to restart as any other.

Someone mentioned that FIZNIK, ERMIT, and TESSA are showing up on Flynn's Ship, but are UNAVAILABLE at this time. That led some people to speculate that perhaps these companions will return regularly (or at least soon with Labor Day weekend coming up)

But then I noticed that DIGGS is Not Showing up--even with the unavailable notation. Are any other unavailables showing up?

For Example, we have Ol' Mac and so wouldn't know if he was showing up on Flynn's ship for people who don't have him.

Anyone care to speculate if/when we might see the market and Diggs return?

Ol'Mac appears as "not available" on Flynn's ship.

Showing up on mine as "Unavailable" are Fiznik, Willowbark, Tessa, Ol' Mac and Ermit. I don't think I've purchased any limited time companions so this may be a complete list.

Ahh dont worry , they are just messing with us . Everyone will be back sooner or later including Diggs .

I agree . I have played this game long enough to know discounts come in two,s and the first discount seems to try to make you spend all your gems before the second one arrives .

I know there weren't any real specials this weekend...but here it is, actual labor day and all we get is the new alter ego, and a continuance on the sale for dark houses.

I'm a bit disappointed since i had been saving gems hoping for a labor sale but none..

There will be one for Halloween most likely so save enough gems for then...

Don't forget to stop collecting from Orville so you're ready to go when the new sanctum quest kicks in...

My Orville collection was late afternoon early evening lst time. So I got the update, and no chance to collect. but Man, 275 missions sure seems a daunting number!

Yeah, i think it was about 200 for last month's fire sanctum. But hey, if you do the 30-minute adventure it'd be done soon without even realizing that you just did 275.

275 seems daunting, but if you have a good amount of Adventure Balloons and Magic has the most Skylanders so if you have a bunch of them and some time, it is by far the quickest part. Just load up with the 30 minute missions. I'm already over halfway done without all that much effort.

I finished with them this afternoon...so it was apparently not as daunting as I originally thought
