The Spin Off. How Dreamworks does the 'Disney Sequel'. At least it isn't direct-to-video, so they beat Disney on that front.

This looks okay, I guess. I really like Madagascar and I like the penguins, but this just seems kinda....

Dreamworks tends to make underwhelming trailers for good movies, so hopefully this is better than it looks. I hope it doesn't turn out like Puss in Boots, I was pumped for that, but ended up kinda disappointed.

Doesn't seem to have the charm of the original Penguins of Madagascar television series.

But as said above, Dreamworks is notorious for terrible trailers, so it'll probably come out better then expected.

I'm kind of looking forward to this. The Penguins tv show was great, and Madagascar 3 was quite a surprisingly good film, so i hope this does good as well.

Sounds like he has his voice from the Madagascar films instead of the TV show.

I saw the trailer while I was watching How To Train Your Dragon 2 today. Looks ok but more of a dragon fan than a bird fan. smilie

I saw the trailer last night before watching dragons 2. It made it worth the money before the movie even started.

I'm a massive fan of the tv series, and yeah Kowalski's voice is different, it's the one from the movies not the TV show. Blowhole needs to at least make a cameo, and so do Man friddi and Johnson. (The last episode of the series showed them for a brief little scene.

I wonder if the tv series will even tie in with the movie. I'm pretty sure the show isn't canon, so maybe this film will start another canon or continue the original Madagascar one.

The only problem with the TV show was the lack of the main characters from the movie. (at least they made cameos)
