He spends his nights in California,
Watching the stars on the big screen.
Then he lies awake and he wonders,
Why can’t that be me?


We’re all guilty of it. We look at the success of others and we long to emulate them, to share in their glittering existence, and we tend to model our own actions based on theirs. But it’s truly a fallacy, as every road has its own twists and turns, no two are truly alike. Every man has his own life, with his own experiences, and his own values. His outcome will be different than the next man’s, and his will be different than the next, and so on and so forth. Therefore, it is a mistake of human nature to do this. A common one, true, but a mistake nonetheless.


The worst is that we lose touch of what makes us special. Some people probably look at you and want to emulate you. We ALL have triumphs, and we ALL have reasons to live. We are ALL important. Look into your heart…..Your value is there, inside the treasure chest. Turn the key.
