So a new character has been announce for Trap Team, Gearshift. now she won't be released until 2015, however, if you pre-order her you get her the day Trap Team the game is released....if you dont pre order her you won't get her until 2015. she looks pretty awesome to be fair.

good attempt to trick people into pre-ordering... but we dont know enough about the game, i will wait until 2015. if the game is not good, i know i didnt waste my money.

I don't mind them doing a bonus figure for preordering. Just hoping GameStop doesn't get a Dark Edition or something like that. I ended up buying 2 versions of the game because of that.

No, no it isn't. The Trap Masters are a few centimeters taller than Swappers. Her head has to be bigger than Chill's, plus, Gearshift has a different shaped mouth.

Only 2? I bought 3 at launch due to the exclusives. Just be glad that every console doesn't have an exclusive character like the 3DS bundles tend to!

You preorder the figure. This has absolutely nothing to do with preordering the game. I've already preordered mine on Amazon.

What does everyone say she looks like Chill?

Gearshift is a way cooler and better robot than Drill Sergeant, Bouncer and Magna Charge. Also, she is lucky to be the first to have two legs instead of wheel(s).

1) Those Robots you mentioned are Better than Gearshift

2) Wind-up was are first 2 legged robot

I personally like her But Snap Shot is my favorite trap master and Drobot, Wind Up and Drill Sargent are my favorite Techs. She is at least better than Sproket, Triggs and Boomer.

Reminds me of a malevolent Terminator with those red eyes. These elemental logos on the skylander are getting cheezier. Anyone saying this is "better" or whatever must only be grading on looks...as we have seen...the playing is what matters.

CountMoneyBone---I agree---skylanders mean nothing when you have 200. I'm interested in more of the game---if they have the tomatoes to talk about it. Very wise to wait.

I find it funny that you can preorder regular Skylanders now. Mainly because stores like Gamestop tend to not have things at launch, as they are set aside for preorders. This must be really confusing for Gamestop right now.

Well, she looks unique y'know... we needed a female robot and she is white (which is unique for tech since almost every robot is orange/red....)

My only problem with her is her toy looks awkward. On a side note I hope she has an ally robot to help her.

LOL!... yes its all about the look for some, the game content dont matter... there is no reason to pre-order at all. why people going nuts over this is beyond me.

I pre-ordered her just because I thought she did look so unique imho. I am really looking forward to this game

Great, now lobby them to put him in the game. A villain that can leave a trail of damage like Zap would make for interesting gameplay.

I waited on the 3DS version and got it for $20 in a sale. Probably will do the same this time around. Skylanders is just getting so expensive.

Well, I'm a Negative Nancy concerning Trap Team and I still pre-ordered Gearshift once she showed up at Best Buy. It helps that my Gamer's Club made her $11.99 and my Elite Plus gave free expedited shipping. That way, if I change my mind I can still cancel since they don't charge till it ships. I doubt their "limited" pre-orders will be very limited on her, they seem to waaay over-estimate demand on things lately. But, if it does I can decide down the road either way like this.

I'm getting the game, since it is more content for the figures I have. I'll also probably try to get the 16 new corelanders and 16 Trap Masters (of which she is one) but that is the extent of it (and I might not even go that far). Sales will be a priority on determining which ones I get. Reposes and variants are coming to an end after this year, period. Too many figures already for me. I do think she is a cool design though.

Yep, the two that come with it will be good for me to experience the gimmick unless they go dirt cheap. I'm sure they will make it so some bonus areas are inaccessible without a trapped villain of an appropriate element. Oh well, guess I'll miss out.

I'm hoping that the traps are like Infinity Power Disks, nice to have but not even close to necessary.

Unfortuently, no, I already checked. ;( Gear Shift Is completely separate from the game pre order...

Id like a simple preorder bonus. Pre-order the game and get a free figure of your choice.
