Yes, that not really doing well..... Last I heard they got a new CEO last year who turned the site into one huge cash cow. The value of their game money has plummeted to become less than worthless, items in the market are insanely expensive, and it's reached the point where you have to pay real money if you actually hope to get any non-generic clothes for your avatar.

Club Penguin is still alive. I actually went on it the other day to see what was happening.
I stopped going on it because pretty much everything is for members and there's nothing except for stupid items for non-members.

Yes.

I used to play that not long after it was released. I still go on it every now and then but that's mostly during events, which are usually very poor in content and provide no challenge.
