Yes. I will agreed with AngelFever. I beat the game too. Cynder does go evil, but it's only in a cutscene and Spyro saves her.

Cynder was evil as sin.... for about a minute or so. Her voice was distorted and just scary dark. Then again I guess being a living shadow with glowing white eyes would scare anyone.
