Is this a possibility, with Outlaw Brawl & Chain?

Maybe, it would be a cool idea but would the variant villains just already be loaded onto the traps when you get them or maybe a Legendary trap that makes what ever enemy trapped on it legendary

I highly doubt that. If that was possible, then it would be kinda cool.

I think "Outlaw" is just the name given to the villains. There's just a lack of punctuation on the card. It should have read "The Outlaw Villain, Brawl and Chain, captured inside. Or removed villain completely.

If you noticed in the gameplay trailers, all of the villains have a "wanted" poster that appears since they're all outlaws.

That would be cool but I'm getting tired of variants. For people like me who don't have Target or TRU, it's a pain to have to buy them on eBay etc.

I think he's a variant...maybe the outlaw version has this browner, wild west look where the original has more blues in his coloration like other water types?

I think we are look to far into this and he's just an exclusive Villain. Remember the Blizzard Chill thing? How some people thought that was a variant?

When I bought the Target reservation card, the material is much different than the one for Swap Force. Instead of being made of paper with a some sort of chip implanted inside it, the Trap Team reserve card is entirely plastic.

Coming back to this after reading something about a "Riot Shield Shredder." Are variant villains truly a thing? I'd like to be aware of this. And of how they'll work.

There are variant villains.. there's also riot shield shredder instead of regular shield shredder (e3 exclusive trap) they're already captured on the trap. Outlaw brawl and chain is a variant also. They will give you a trap with him when you pick up your game.

Variant villains are exactly like the normal villains but with different colors.

Just one question. Is it possible to actually have the variant villains duplicated in another game file, or they must be brought out of the first one in order to be transferred? If the second thing I said is right, then it'll be like getting another variant villain within the trap.

Precisely... just like the skylander variants.

And sorry I don't know what they're planning re duplicating villains onto separate consoles/save files. I'm assuming your second theory seems more accurate. I'm thinking of a similar instance with the knights helm in Giants where you could use it in a different save file but it wouldn't unlock it in the hats list.

My guess is the Alt Deco is tied to the Trap, not the Villain.
