Do you guys think he's real?

I'm definitely skeptical. The red part of the watermelon looks orange on the figure itself in the image. Then there's the reality that this figure wouldn't show up like that in-game...the data would've already been found.

That's what I've thought... I know it would be really cool but I really think he's not true. We'll know later!

If he is real, he will not be in game (at least for Swap Force, for which it is branded). We already know all of the in game variants and Jade Fire Kraken is all that is left.

Now, that doesn't mean he isn't real - they came out with Pumpkin Eye Brawl last year that was different but not in game. However, the name on the front just said "Eye Brawl" and this one says "Watermelon Pop Thorn" like an in game variant. Typically, they would probably avoid this because it would come up without the modifier in game.

Definitely fake. You can tell the artwork is photoshopped.

Obvious fake. If it was real, there would be data in the game for him. We've had several people dig through the game and there's nothing on him.

Notice how it says "Trap Team."
