I was at one of the local TRUs in Dallas yesterday and they had 2 of the SSA 3 packs that I have never seen in stores before. They had the Prism Break/Boomer/Voodood and Eruptor/Chop Chop/Bash packs. There were 5 of each.

Anyone have any similar finds recently?

Please tell me you bought a Boomer! I wish i could find that pack retail. I got my boomer from ebay loose.

I didn't buy any because I got mine loose on Ebay shortly before Christmas. If they're getting restocks, I have no interest in Ebaying.

I honestly didn't care enough to get a pic because I wasn't buying any. This post is a heads up for anyone looking in the area and to see if anyone had a similar experience while they were picking up their Doomstones this week.

I bought 2 of the boomer 3 packs a few months back at TRU. (One for me, and one for my buddy)

I've seen report after report for months of TRU getting in the 3 pack with Boomer, but my store never gets them. I've even seem cases come in and had a clerk open them for me to see if I could find one with no luck. I finally broke down and found someone selling their set of Skylanders on craigslist and they were willing to sell their Boomer for $10. I hated to pay that in hopes that I might find him for that much brand new. But I had just given up on ever finding him.

It's strange that different stores get different stock. Someone recently even said their store got a restock of Legendar Trigger Happy's and had them on clearance. I don't know where all the SSA stock had been coming from at TRU, but the cases they were getting in over the holidays had a shipping labels with a ship date from 2012 on them, so they don't seem like reprints, but stock that had been sitting somewhere for over a year.

I'd love to find a boomer in the wild, it's the only skylander i've never seen for sale in a single/triple. SSA Zap ive seen ina triple, neevr a single. Everything else I found in the wild over time (i had to buy wreckingball and bash singles off ebay but then found them in walmart and a gamestop out east of me and replaced the store bought ones with the ebay ones)
