To make tasks go faster, I will never want to use this function and hate when i hit it by accident and cant get the cancel button in time. Since it has come to Android I have been playing the game on my phone and it is alot harder to avoid on the small screen

None that I know of. I can't imagine any reason that anyone would ever actually intentionally use this feature. And I'd really love to hear about them if anyone does know reasons!

I wonder if using a stylus, for more precise aim, would help.

I'm 100% in agreement about never wanting to use the "feature" but I'm sure they have no incentive to remove it or allow us a toggle to turn it off. I think it's particularly poor taste making it so easy to do accidentally, considering how many children play the game.

I have used the feature a few times intentionally. Usually has to do with when I'm setting up long term tasks that I won't be able to mess with the game for quite a while, and I have one Skylander I need tied up and almost done - but not close enough to being done that I can wait.

It's really a pointless feature. Though you don't have to hit "cancel". If you tap anywhere outside the window, it will cancel and close. It's still annoying, though, since it's easy to have them pop up.

There have been a couple times when I wasn't able to cancel in time. Luckily, I play on both my phone and tablet. So when this happens, I quickly close the game (before it auto-saves), then open it from the other device. I will lose all progress since the last cloud save, but it's usually only a few minutes worth of playtime.

At least Lost Islands has a cancel button . No such hope for My little pony or Fantasy town . Do the wrong button and its CHING CHING . I have learned to play very very carefully and never to rush

There's no reason that they can't change it so that you have to confirm the use of gems rather than cancel (except, of course, greed).

Wow! If I couldn't cancel an accidental click of this nature, I would absolutely stop playing the game.

And I'm glad it is a cancel instead of a confirm - the cancel slowly counts down giving you time to notice it and respond. A confirm could accidentally get clicked just the same way the initial 'Finish now?' gets accidentally clicked.
