They're smart dogs. That's why they use them in police operations.

Definetly not a good choice for your first dog though. They require a ton of exercise, they shed a lot of fur, and they have a slight natural tendency to be violent if not trained correctly.

When I was younger, I had a friend who owned a German Shepherd. She was very sweet smilie
My dad wants one, but my mom refuses. One bit her when she was little and now she isn't a huge fan of them.
