Lets look at the main character, Eep. (Emma Stone) She has disney princess syndrome. Meaning that she hopes that there is something more out there and then falls in love with the stereotypical love interest. Even though she's the main character, she's actually really boring and whiny. Not to mention the focus issue, it changes so drastically. Eep's father (who is played by Nicholas Cage.) all of a sudden becomes the main focus point. In my own opinion he is a much better character the main character. He has so much potential then that of his own daughter.
However, the movie looks beautiful when it comes to animation, the backgrounds are pretty too look at. But the mostly terrible cast of characters takes away and distracts us from all that. from that.
