Hello everyone! I am uttster13, and absolutely LOVE the MCU!
For those who don't know what it is, ahem:

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is a series of movies made by Marvel Studios and Disney. They are all tied together and are freaking awesome! (With the exception of Thor: TDW)

The movies series started in 2008 with Iron Man. It was received with commercial success, and followed by The Incredible Hulk. At the end credits of TIH, Robert Downey Junior had a cameo as Tony Stark, which showed movie goers that it would be all woven together to create pure awesomeness.

List of Movies:

Phase One:

Iron Man
The Incredible Hulk
Iron Man 2
Thor
Captain America: The First Avenger
The Avengers

Phase Two:

Iron Man Three
Thor: The Dark World
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
(Upcoming) Guardians of the Galaxy (Aug. 1, 2014)
(Upcoming) Avengers: Age of Ultron (May 1, 2015)

Phase Three:

Ant-Man (July 17, 2015)
Captain America Three (May 6, 2016)

Because making games with comic book characters in it ruins an entire franchise. >_>
Are you really 16?

Unless they decide to cast Mark Wahlberg as Tony Stark when RDJ leaves, then no.

(Marky-Mark wants the role because RDJ might not sign on for a Iron Man 4. He barely signed up for A:AoU and Avengers Three.)

You really shouldn't neglect to give a justification for your hatred of TDW, I didn't think it was that bad, not as bad as TIH, IMO, I couldn't even watch TIH, I hated Norton as Banner, it also just didn't feel like a Marvel movie, I don't know how else I can explain myself on that.

But anyways, I'm pretty excited for GotG, it looks pretty alright, more of a comedic aspect than any other MArvel movie and it's a quite obscure choice for a film, which is why it seems pretty cool.

I don't hate TDW, but it wasn't as actiony as the others.

But GotG looks great! They are already planning a cartoon series and have plans for a sequel.

@eruptshake, they will make a Hulk sequel with Ruffalo.

Good job forgetting
Hulk*
Daredevil
Elektra
Spiderman 1-3
Amazing Spiderman 1 & 2
Ghost Rider 1 & 2
both Fantastic 4 movies
& all 7 X-Men movies

All of which were also Marvel movies. smilie

*Note: Hulk was a terrible movie directed by Ang Lee that was later remade as Incredible Hulk with Norton as Bruce Banner, Norton doing a better job than the guy in the first movie.

The Marvel Cinematic universe is the perfect example of the superhero saturation that's going on.

Seiki, those movies aren't in the Marvel Cinematic Universe because the movie rights for those were sold to Fox. Therefore, they are not owned by Marvel Studios and Disney, which are the production companies for the MCU.

But those are licensed by Sony.
I'm pretty sure he's talking about the Marvel Studios ones.

They're still movies based on marvel comics, which is enough for me.

Honestly I prefer Sony movies just because they don't make the majority of the movie fighting.

IMO, Marvel Studios has the upper hand.
Their movies aren't all action, either.
